She was in a lot of pain, and had to make an appt. else where for it to be fixed. Called for records which I supposedly can not receive for over 1 week, and I had to call twice to get that answer because they could not even call back. Knowing a child is in pain you would expect them to care enough to at least call back. But I guess that's because they don't really care about their patients. And also with electric medical recording they can give you your records by just printing each page. They are just lazy and do not care about their patients well being.

Dr. Gemmi & His Staff Changed My Life I came to Orthodontics…read moreLimited in Hatboro with teeth I thought were beyond repair -- and a spirit just as broken. But Dr. Gemmi didn't flinch. He took on the challenge and gave me a smile I never thought possible. Thanks to him and his kind, professional staff, I now feel confident speaking, smiling, and showing up fully in life. Since completing treatment, I've written and published two children's books: "Yarn: A Tail of 2 Kittens" and "A Thing or 2 About a Kangaroo." I was so grateful, I even thanked Dr. Gemmi and his team in both books' dedications. This office didn't just straighten my teeth -- they straightened out my confidence. If you need orthodontic care, don't hesitate. Dr. Gemmi is the real deal.

I was impressed right away as several other orthodontists wanted to put "spreaders" on my daughter before the actual braces. I thought this was a senseless step in the process that would add an extra 1.5 to 2 years. Dr Gemmi agreed a removed a few teeth that the spreaders were supposed to give space so they would naturally fall out. She had already had to have a few teeth removed to make room for the teeth to have room. Great no nonsense orthodontists that don't need to add the extra cost for additional profit. Also a great lesson for my daughter to shop around and get several opinions as even respected orthodontists would recommend senseless treatment to make additional profit. Have recommended several friends to this practice and will definitely continue to recommend!

We absolutely LOVE everyone at Rawlins Orthodontics. They are excellent with kids. They are clear about instructions, plans and I love that the payment is just a lump sum for the total treatment, no matter how long it takes. Billing is SO easy to navigate with them. Appointments typically run on time with very brief waits in the waiting room. We have not been the easiest family but they ALL are so kind and patient with our girls needs. Dr. Rawlins makes going to the orthodontist fun and positive. It's clear his staff is very happy there. He has a warm bedside manner, explains things to kids and parents in a way they understand and I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone. The office is clean, the parking is easy, the location is great!

I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this very family-oriented practice!

We didn't understand why the over charge. I called and spoke with billing personal and she said that the Dr. was working off network. I asked for her to explain, and she said," the Dr. is allowed to make this decision to go off network. What this means is they don't want to pay the fee from the insurance, so they bill the patient the extra money. Regardless, if the doctor makes the decision, the patient should know if the Dr. is working off network. Not letting the patient know about this decision, to me feels greedy in a little bit of a scam . Going to the dentist is the expensive as it is, that's why we have insurance, we pay insurance on top of that and now her prices are higher. They don't want to pay the fee, but make the patients pay at a higher cost.
