The difference between Miracle Heights and the other facilities are the exceptional people that works here. They really care for their patients. I found out about Providence Medical Group through some friends and checked it out. The Patient Coordinator Sable was awesome. She was very nice and laughed at my jokes making me feel a little at ease. I was able to make a $40.00 upfront payment and be billed for the rest. So i can make payments. Otherwise, I would still be at home. Heart racing out of control. Anxiety through the roof, trying to relax! Not easy. ( Oh. By the way. I hate hospitals! I have too much trauma of my own to like being in hospitals. I have woken up in the hospital a couple times. It will freak you out for a moment! So ya. I do not like hospitals!) After a short wait and some questions. I was taken care of by a great nurse and an awesome Dr. My heart feels better but i think my dose may be weak. Something I think Dr. Phillip will have no problem with. Even now. My heart feels better than it has in months. PMG is a great place.. I feel I may actually not hate this hospital.

But now to make matters worse, Providence has removed all incoming call reception from the clinics and routed all calls to a call center somewhere. There has not been a single time since they made this change that I or anyone else in my family has been able to make it through the call queue in under 20 minutes. It's usually closer to 30. This is not an exaggeration. We went from being able to actually call our doctor's team and talking to someone in one or two minutes at the most, to now having to listen to the entire hold music menu twice over every time we call, and keep in mind that we're calling our doctor about our health, so sometimes timeliness matters. This is an unmitigated disaster and whoever made this decision should not only be fired, but should be permanently blacklisted from ever working anywhere ever again, because it shows either extreme incompetence or extreme hostility toward patients, or perhaps both. And if you thought mychart was a good alternative, think again. They also offsited message screening to some centralized location so not only does it take forever to hear back, but you're usually not even talking to your own clinic. The whole system is broken and it would be better to just let Providence go under than to let it languish in eternal decline, dragging their patients down with them.

She would email me anything I needed to know or complete and follow up with a text to see if I had any questions. If I did, she was available almost immediately to go over everything by phone. She had several recommended contacts that she worked with. I was able to get my inspection scheduled and completed on time and they were extremely thorough. There was also some electrical work that needed to be done and she went out and got me several bids. This all was going on during the pandemic and Felicia took care of everything. I was getting really concerned about my Mom's lack of social interaction. She was living with my…read morehusband and I. 2 months ago she and I decided to move her into Glenmoore Assisted Living and I am starting to see improvements in her! Glenmoore is just what their name implies. Gracious! They have been so welcoming from the beginning. Both Managers and Residents. Her studio apartment is clean and comfy and she has a nice size deck for patio furniture and flowers. Housekeeping does a good job coming once a week. Her apartment is always clean when I visit. I have had many meals with my mom and the food is delicious and the choices are many. I can't think of 1 diet that would not be accommodated. She has access to food at any time of the day. They have many activities, but the most important one for my mom are the fitness classes. My mom also enjoys the onsite Beauty Salon. There are so many more amenities to list, but i am running out of space to type. I also like that this is a smaller community that does not have a hotel feeling. It is charming. In closing, I wish we had moved her sooner.

She complained about a few things over the course of her stay however, we eventually moved her to a home in Washington to be closer to my mom and she ended complaining that she missed glenmoore and her friends she made there. The glenmoore residents reached out to her often after her move including attending her funeral. I can't %100 say that I think this is the best place, however I do know my grandmother enjoyed some of her last fond memories here, including the lady who made things and brought them to sell, the hat tea party, the ugly Christmas sweater context the soft serve machine, and the games the residents would play together. Thanks for making this a memorable place for my grandmothers last few years.
