She was very easy to work with and accomodating. Day of class, the girls thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Their teacher did a fantastic job working with my boisterous group of high schoolers. They had a blast. Learned a few skills. And took lots of pictures! They had SO much fun! I will be back! I am going to set up a class for a womens group in the future for silks and pole dancing. And my daughter might do some silks classes over the summer months while her climbing classes are on hiatus.

The intro series is a continuous series of 4 classes. It's really nice to have the same instructor and the same group of people in the class every week, which helps build confidence and camaraderie. We all got through the first class in slightly awkward silence, but by the fourth class we were laughing, joking around, and dancing freely. Luckily our instructor, Molly, was super lighthearted and funny, and she made everyone feel much more at ease. I definitely left each class with sore arms. Pole dancing is no joke! And as someone with no dance background, it was sometimes difficult to not look totally awkward transitioning between moves. I definitely have a lot of work to do, so I'm excited to try out the Beginner class.

I reluctantly signed up for a pole class after a friend raved about one she had attended in Vegas…read morewhile at a bachelorette party. I was a little nervous at first, wondering what I may have gotten myself into (let's just say dance isn't a strong point for me.) I also wondered what to wear to such a class? The class ended up being a TON of fun and more of a workout than I had anticipated. Pole Fitness is no joke! The class begins with a warm up that's part yoga, part pole stretches and quickly progresses into building a routine of about 8 moves centered on and around the pole. We laughed, danced and ended up with a great workout, amazed at how an hour could have passed so quickly! Gather up your girls and go check out this class! We already have a date for our next session! FYI: Bare feet seem to work best for beginners. Short shorts! The shorter, the better! Some moves need skin to pole contact to keep you from sliding. I went in shorts that came to just above my knee and i was ok for most of the routines.

As a parent, we want our kids to be in a place where they can not only grow in their skills and have healthy safe relationships, but to also be safe and be treated with respect and dignity by their instructor. Having their hearts broken by an adult who was supposed to care for them was just devastating. Others have left this studio for similar reasons. It is my advice, based on our personal experience, that families might want to look elsewhere for a studio with a healthy and warm environment. There are many in the front range area! In response to owner's comments. Yes, it was very sad that my family and others had to leave after such a long time of hard work, loyalty and care for you and your studio. How sad that when families came to you for help and assistance, you chose to turn your back on us, and on the issues we brought to you in good faith. I realize it is good business to respond to reviews like the one I left, but it's such a shame you did not want to deal with the severe issues we brought to you while we were all still there and asking for your help and support. As for the mental health experts you mentioned, this was not what you said to us when we were asking for your help. We did not leave solely because of the draconian policies you introduced, but because of the dismissive and cruel way you treated our family, and the others who chose to leave. We loved you and cared for you in so many ways for years, and when we asked for your help suddenly the love was all gone and you chose instead, to dismiss us and our very serious concerns. I hope you do well in the future personally, but I also hope that other families will read this and approach with caution. Too many young broken hearts at frcba. The problem you had, is still there. The rest of us just chose not to subject our teens to the bullying and negative attitude any longer. It became clear that not only was the emotional and psychological welfare of all dancers not a concern for you, but their physical safety was also not of concern when another parent could use their vehicle to threaten us and risk injuring minors and other parents and you refused to handle the situation in any kind of meaningful way. While everything written here is simply our opinion, based on our experiences, I would want any parent considering bringing their child/ teen to frcba to think twice. As the parents, we chose to stop pouring our energies and finances into a studio where it is clear that not everyone is treated equally or with fairness or justice and perhaps mostly, in our opinion, where it simply isn't safe or healthy.

The teachers are incredible especially the owner, Polly Sutton. Polly is absolutely AMAZING with the kids. She makes every child feel special and knows exactly how to engage each age group so they learn to the best of their abilities. All the instructors are such great motivators and encouragers. I highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone. My daughters have gained so much confidence both inside and outside classes and I owe it all to CDA. CDA is so incredibly invested in every student and every family -- I can't think of anyone that goes there that isn't extremely grateful for this studio.
