This is actually a really nice up scale type of gentleman's club and the inside of this place looks really nice it kinda reminds me of some of the clubs in Vegas. The dancers here are pretty nice and gorgeous and give good mileage on the lap dances. Yes you will spend more money at this club but for me I think it's actually worth it especially with this place being more up scale. If you'd like a history lesson of what once was, see my previous reviews. This club used to be LIT but that was a time many years gone. Now, it's like any business whose owners have lost their care. Working on its last legs. Still looks great on the inside but it severely lacks in staffing, entertainment and show. You can see the many ways their quality is insufficient and overall deficient in the many categories. Bathroom hosts are now gone. At one time they installed TVs in the men's restroom playing footage from the dance floor. Those have been removed and /or are in disrepair. Paying a cover is understandable but they haven't the talent on-hand to qualify charging such a high cover charge, $18 or not. On some weekends they may have fewer than five dancers. Compare that to their competition that can offer fifty to over a hundred entertainers. If a new management firm or exotic club magnate were to invest, that'd be the best option to save IS. Rick's come through! The downward spiral continues to drag this club down the rabbit hole to extinction. **If you wonder why some folks give them four stars or more, one word. Grind. First timers here. And Opening Night. Wasnt to crowded. Parking was free. For my husband and myself. $21 to get in. The main floor is done really nice. The poles are super high which I like. Bathrooms were clean. They have a smoking lounge upstairs so you dont have to go outside. Drinks were reasonable. The DJ played awesome music. The girls were smoking hot. Chicago strip clubs are pretty lame. So if I'm in the mood to go with a few of my boys, we head to Hammond to Industrial Strip. This place won't blow you away, but its the best local club you are going to find. They don't have Alcohol, and they are still allowed to smoke in the club, but the dances are priced reasonably and they are the most fun. $55 gets you three dances in a private room. The ladies get completely bare, and the dances are hands on (no touching the kitty though). I think you can have even a little more fun if you want also (no first hand knowledge, but friends have passed on their accounts). My experience is that the girls are pretty nice, which means a lot, and they don't harass you for a dance. Quality wise though, you have some good lookers, some average lookers, and some water buffalos. Not sure why clubs keep the water buffalos on, but as they say, "different strokes, different folks". I think the cover last night was $13, which is pretty reasonable. I had a water and a coke, and each was only $1. So nice to not get charged $6 for a bottle of water. The place is a little tired looking, but as long as the seats are clean, which they are, what difference does it make. Drive from the north side of Chicago is about 20 to 25 minutes. read more

If I had to go to ANY strip club in the Chicagoland area, it would be I.S...even if it's NOT in Chicago. 1. Only about a 20 min drive south east from Chicago 2. NO COVER for ladies and buy 1 get one free covers if you print out a coupon online if you're a dude 3. My Friend's Bachelor Party Reviews #6 Strip clubs are only visited by me under two circumstances for me, Vegas and bachelor parties, and in both cases I have to be sufficiently hammered. Nothing morally against it, its just not my thing and I prefer losing my money quickly while gambling. That being said, this place wasn't bad, it was well kept and comfortable, and sported the typical strip club scene: dark, loud, and full of the desperate and drunk folks you'd expect at an out of the way place in NW Indiana. The absolute killer for me was it didn't have the essential thing for making me feel comfortable at a strip club, booze. "Do you want a dance?" "No, I'm losing my buzz" In their favor, there are some high quality strippers (among some less appealing ones) and for 40 bucks they brought our bachelor on stage and gave him 3 strippers to basically humiliate and beat the crap out of him (torn shirt, whipped with his own belt, and so on and so forth). This brought me to the conclusion that a.) my friend needs to lose weight, and b.) there is no way that is happening at my bachelor party. The dances are very...um....hands on. No, they don't do anything illegal (not that I asked) but it is a very physical experience. The girls are all nice and take their job very seriously. If you pay for a dance, they will make sure you get your money's worth! Plus, you are never pressured to get a dance or hounded by the same girl all night. They also have this thing called "Dollar Dances". It usually happens on the hour every two hours or something similar. You basically can get mini-dances at your chair, maybe 30 seconds long, for $1. THESE dances are about as physical as the private dances are at other, lesser clubs. A great night out for a group of guys or even couples. I went here on a Saturday night around 12:30am with a few friends. It's a small place with 3 stages. There are a variety of girls at this place, there were some cute girls but again that depends on your taste. They have $1 dances every hour I believe. This place is 18 years & above and IS does not serve alcohol. Some of the girls didn't really even seem to want to dance just take you out to the VIP rooms which are 1/$30, 2/$45, 3/$55. I got a dance from this stripper named Stacy and she said she has been working there for 11 years (since they opened) and that she promises she won't disappoint. Now to tell you the truth I was not that impressd with it. But the girls there are really nice. I would atleast check it out once and see how you like it. About using credit cards. I actually enjoyed myself GREATLY. Place is not hard to find, free parking, and friendly bouncers/security (Or at least I didn't feel their presence. But based on the stories from the dancers, they will swarm any jackass patron that step out of line). Inside was definitely clean, bartender was smoking hot! The second one wasn't as great as the first though. Her name, I believe, was desiree? (I cannot remember so don't quote me on it) Her dancing skills were meh and her body language gave off vibes like she really didn't want to be there or that she belongs there. She has tattoos on her chest and arms and is easy to identify, she kept asking me if I want a private dance. Right before closing time, I agreed to one song, The dance consisted of her putting her body weight on me to pin me down for another two songs. Industrial Strip is one of the only full nude clubs in the Chicagoland area. That is its huge bonus for most guys.The other bonus is that there are all sorts of ways to get discounted or free admission including a Friday night couples night. For me, the female part of a couple, the negatives far outweighed the pluses. The fact that it is in Indiana means it is still a smoking venue. We were there on a Friday night. The place was fairly busy but not packed. The smoke was overwhelming and we left earlier than we had intended because neither one of us could breathe at all. Now, i should mention that one of us used to be a smoker and still works with smokers so he is not usually susceptible to issues at all. The other negatives were that we sat for quite a while without being approached and the facility. The woman with whom we spent the most time was attractive and friendly. She was also an excellent dancer I am told. (My husband got three private dances. I was not allowed to go and watch because there was no room in the private dance areas. A BIG thumbs down!) The dollar dances at the table are a great deal and good way for each entertainer to showcase her skills so one can determine which ones to get private dances from. They are also a good way for a newbie to get some contact worrying about not knowing the rules. At the Industrial Strip, the rules vary greatly from the main room to the private dance rooms.The dance room my husband was in was a mouse-hole sized space with a bench and small shelf. It was very dark compared to other clubs we have been in. He received a very high-quality full-friction dance but I was very disappointed that I was not allowed to go along and watch. Perhaps the dancer and I miscommunicated but I don't think that was the case because there was simply no room for me to go along. If a club advertises as a couples club, there should be space for both to go along for a private dance without paying a VIP price. At least with his dancer, a lot of touching was permitted. VIP seating areas are strictly enforced and the girls at IS clearly expect to be tipped by the stage seats much more so that the other clubs in the area. The dancer quality is above average in pole skills and they offer a good variety of dancers to appeal to many types. We would consider going back to IS if they have a no smoking night or if they get a better ventilation system. read more

As far as the Chicago area us concerned, this is by far the best strip club. The women at this club (for the most part) are very laid back and seem to really enjoy what they do. On any given night you will find them laughing, joking, and will greet you with a smile. There is still contact here, but as will any club you have to be respectful and you aren't going to be allowed to touch one the main floor. On my last visit I hadn't been to IS in a few years and I walked in during a promotion. (Where they offer a discount or a free T-shirt with a dance etc. ) Of course, I just walked in and I wasn't ready to head to the back yet. I had about 5 dancer ask me to go, but none were pushy. One of the dancers, actually apologized, introduced herself as Abby and said she would we back to visit once I had settled it. After a few songs she came back and chatted. She was witty and made me laugh so I went back for a dance, and wow. She was really into it, very sensual and also very flexible :D Later, I watched the stage show for a while and I have to say every single woman was very talented. I later got a dance from Ginger and she is really fun! I finished out the night with Abby. From what I could tell all the women actually get along here, and have fun with each other. Now I gave this review 4 stars for a reason. The club should keep up with things like posting the hours on the website etc. Even the hours on here are wrong. I don't know why there aren't more recent reviews, as a few things have changed, but not that much. There is still no smoking inside and no booze. Was just at the Industrial Strip tonight and I did the three songs for $60 and one for $35 and they weren't air dances. The 3 for $60 was fully nude and you could touch anywhere except for her privates and the 1 for $35 was topless but you could still touch so I'm not sure what the previous review is talking about. It was really dead the night I came, which is a surprise since it was a Saturday night, but I think it was mainly due to it being the July 4 weekend. As for the girls, there was a variety and all of them were very professional and welcoming.
