But man, the prices here a bit high. $85 for labor. (it's about $100ish for automobile labor at a garage). but it is what it is. I had an issue with my snow blower and had to change the carburetor at their suggestion which wasn't covered by the warranty. the man I dealt with seemed nice, but they charged me more than I liked and overall price seemed unreasonable. that's my humble opinion. the blower is working again and they said they will cover the labor for the season so we'll see. I'll give them credit for taking a look at it as quickly as possible since I had to go to work, but this was probably reflected in the price. bottom line: take care of your equipment!

    Well I attempted to prepare for the winter by trying to start my 2-year old Toro snow blower to no…read moreavail. I tried adding fresh gas with stabilizer additive, but, still no luck. So I had to bring it in for service. The next day I got a call from the mechanic informing me the carburetor was gummed up probably from some left over gasoline from last year. The mechanic was very friendly and showed me my gummed up carburetor. $144 later my snow blower was fully functioning again with a well learned lesson not to leave any gasoline in the tank over the summer. It seems the increased use of ethanol in the gasoline has caused this problem to happen more often than not. So I learned to use stabilizer with ethanol protection. Hopefully I don't have this problem again
