Then I decided, why not try it out. The prices are on par if not cheaper than your Pure Indulgence and Ella Bache, which is great. The rooms are just as good as your top beauty place, clean, uncluttered (i'm looking at you plastic flower on the bed that serves no purpose!). It smells nice. The beauticians don't use that fake light voice to talk to you, they are people! Tick tick tick. I had a facial there and an eyebrow wax another visit, and both times they have accomodated me without an appointment. Plus! The lotions and serums they use are all scientifically developed by a chinese guy in the US. They are designed to contain less crap and more real stuff (in laymen terms). They also have pretty good pricing on the lotions, you'll get a strong UV30 sunscreen for $30, for the potency it is, you don't need much and it lasts a longer time. Yelp! what a deal! Anyway, girls are pretty, guys go there too, they do make up and pierce ears and cosmetic tattooing to boot. I highly recommend trying this place out. Well worth it.

It stuck to me like nothing before and wrinkled in certain places and I think I ripped it in one, this was just getting on the table. Some other places do not make the effort to create this ambience which can be annoying, which is why I just stick to TranQuilty, it is a wonderful experience every time. Milk & Honey is easy enough to get to being on Moggill Road and being in a small shopping complex you're not battling huge crowds to find a park or to get to your destination. The salon itself isn't your typical cookie cutter salon. They do focus on medical beauty treatments. Think Botox and Restalyne. Don't stress. If you're just not that into injectables you can still visit for classic facials and waxing. And that's where Chantelle comes in. Her brow skills are on point. She gets what you mean when you say, "I want a natural brow", she's all for maintaining a full Brooke Shields brow, and she's still the only person I'll trust to tint those two pesky strips of hair above my eyes. She just gets it right Every.Time. For a shape and tint I'll admit it is pricier than your mall salon but this is the shiz and for that I'll keep dolling out the clams.

Anyway, I've been coming here for years, seeing I live in Mt Ommaney and they wash and sterilize their instruments just as much as the other nail place, they scrub down their pedicure stations after every person and they are pretty damn professional and friendly. So yelpers yelp not here. It is a great place to get a manicure and pedicure for $40. They do quite a good job with acryllics, it's no wait, walk in and get serviced and judging by the repeat customers who come in droves requesting for a certain girl, they do pretty good repeat business too. I can't speak for the other franchises of Professionail, but this one is pretty good in my Yelpinion. Which is worth its weight in Yelp.

Today I went in and a different girl did my refill and charged me $50 for a refill! I politely said that normally I get charged $35 and she just was not having it. I understand they were very busy and she wouldn't want to be standing talking money with me but that is not good business. Once a month you will see me wandering down Vernon Terrace to their little salon. Walking in is like transporting yourself to a beautiful oasis. There is lots of comfortable seating and while you wait you will be surrounded by a wide variety of products and samples to play with. You can sip on the kettle of herbal tea being gently warmed by a tealight candle or just soak up the relaxing, soothing music and essential oil blends permeating the air. My therapist, Beth is a skilled woman! She takes care of all of my waxing requirements and is down to earth and professional. Wax is always fresh and it takes just 20 minutes for her to do a full brazilian! I also see Kaitlin every few months for my anti-wrinkle needs. A qualified injectible practitioner, Kaitlin is very knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. I've been to countless salons and she honestly gives me the best results out of any of them. Her treatments are painless and effective and I am left with minimal recovery time. I have also had a spray tan (my first ever!) administered by Charlotte, the salon manager. It was a fantastic experience and I will always be thankful for her patience that day! I can't wait to try more of the treatments available!

Annie and her team are always soooo gentle, generous and really professional. Which is what you want in any beauty services. The small space faces on to a lovely leafy courtyard around the corner of the shops. It's quiet and unique in shopping centres. Smooth offers high level skin management techniques and all the normal waxing, colouring and massages. I love the interior with it's original Carrey Smith artworks. And for prices such as $25 for a half leg and $40 for a brazillian (up to $90 elsewhere) that suits me.

I like the format of turning up without needing to make an appointment, however be warned that Thursday nights and Saturday mornings can have extensive waits (around 45 mins) (but they are happy for you to put your name down and return within a suggested time period). They use strip wax for more common areas like legs, but change to hot wax for the more delicate areas like eyebrows and Brazilians. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review is the result can vary depending on the luck of the draw in who you get as your waxer. I am always happy with the end result, I have just found that some of the staff manage to get the job done quicker, with less pain and with minimal leftover wax. I think it may come down to experience as it is the older staff who seem to be the best. Every member of staff always makes you feel comfortable and they are happy to chat, or will do the job in silence if that is your preference.
