I signed an advertising agreement with this company and shortly after requested a review of the contract. I was told I would receive a response from the appropriate department within two days, but that follow-up never came despite multiple attempts. Due to the amount of miscommunication, I requested that all communication be handled in writing. That request was repeatedly ignored, and I continued receiving phone calls and messages outside of my stated preferences. While the agreement was under review, I asked that ad development be paused. This was also ignored, and production continued despite multiple requests to halt. Most concerning, I was later sent ad proofs using my company's name and information after explicitly stating that I did not authorize its use. At that point, it was clear that prior communication was not being acknowledged or followed. I was also mistakenly included in an internal email thread showing a similar situation with another business, which raised additional concerns about how accounts are handled. For context, the contract itself is non-cancellable, which makes clear and responsive communication even more important. While I am honoring the financial terms of the agreement, due to these concerns, my business has declined to be represented or associated with IndoorMedia in any capacity. read more

Sales stated we need to give it "more time" but judging by the reviews, seems like most businesses saw the same results no matter how much time was given. Had I been given the company name, I would have done research and not waste our time and money. But the agents misrepresented themselves and said they were from the Grocery store next door. We recently entered a contract with this company only to be surprised when they altered the contract changing the business contract to another store I own without my permission. They also removed 6 months of free marketing that they had on the original contract. Since I discovered this I have been trying to get it resolved but none of my emails get a response. They are great at throwing out promises and ignoring actual contracts. It sems we are probably headed towards litigation at this point. read more

I entered into an advertising agreement with Indoor Media based on representations made by their salesperson (who dropped by my business not once but twice) about the effectiveness and value of the service. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those representations. The service did not produce the expected results and was far more expensive than the value received. I was also not clearly informed at the time of signing that the contract was non-cancellable, which was a key factor in my decision. When I contacted customer service to express my concerns and request to exit the agreement, I was told cancellation was not allowed and was later threatened with legal action when I mentioned leaving a review. Warning to Small Business Owners I had a terrible experience with IndoorMedia. They misled me into signing a contract, claiming it was a flexible advertising partnership. Later, I found out it was non-cancellable, and the advertising brought in only 15 customers in 4 months! When I tried to cancel, they refused to communicate in writing, only insisting on phone calls--clearly trying to avoid accountability. I have filed complaints with the California Attorney General's Office, the FTC, and the BBB. If you are a small business owner, avoid IndoorMedia at all costs! read more

I'm a Small Business owner in Kirkland WA, I got scammed out of $1300 dollars by this company. They made it seem like shopping cart ads are the way to grow my new business, I paid $500 upfront to start and $240 per month. This was a one year ads on shopping carts in Safeway in Mill Creek WA, then they said it would be up in running in December of last year, Well nothing happen by end of December the ads where not on shopping carts like promised and by this time they charged $274 on my card and still no ads on carts. Then in Jan I went to check out the ads and there were only 4 shopping carts with my ads on them. So I was scammed! They said that was what I paid for 20% of the shopping carts for $250 a month, only 4 carts! If this company ever call you hang up the phone same yourself the trouble! A salesperson came into my business with all kinds of numbers from other advertisers in my market. He showed me numbers that appeared realistic, not so far fetched. We were looking for advertising platforms at the time so we thought this might be a good idea. Boy were we wrong. I should have read reviews, and called these supposed previous advertisers to see what their results really were. $600 a month in advertising costs, and we have not seen one single customer from this advertising. Signing the contract with them is the worst investment I have ever made. Free donut coupon for two weeks or even a month is reasonable. Let people try a donut if they like it they buy it next time and become a customer. But free donut coupons for the whole year is crazy. We make zero dollars on sale because they just keep using coupons. Somehow homeless people use coupons to get free donuts. This ruins my business.
