So... don't know who made the first listing, but the first thing you should know is that this is NOT A THAI RESTAURANT. I found one yellow curry dish - that's it. This is a Chinese wok restaurant and buffet. I was pretty disappointed to find this out, and I am going to ping the folks at Yelp to see if there is a way to change the category of the restaurant. Okay. On to the review. Don't know what happened when @Aline visited the place, but if you like Chinese wok restaurants (not my favorite), then this place was just fine. (Note - I hit the place about 6:15 PM. I expect if you went there at 9 PM you might have a different experience.) If you have not been to a wok restaurant before, it might be helpful to explain the concept. You get a plate and go to the buffet. You choose raw meat, raw vegetables, different sauces, etc. Put them on your plate, (tip - there are little binder-clips at the table with a number on it. Take your clip with you to the buffet and...) attache the binder-clip to the plate, and drop it off at the wok chef. He cooks the ingredients you have selected, and then they bring the cooked meal to your plate. I was looking for Thai because I had eaten several heavy German meals in a row and was looking for something light. I chose some thick noodles, shrimp, onions, mushrooms and green beans. I dropped the plate at the kitchen and about 5 minutes later, a perfectly cooked meal appeared at my table. It was just what I was looking for. Ingredients on the raw buffet looked very fresh and recently prepared. Food tasted very good, although not my style - don't like the amount of oil used in wok cooking. But again, that is one of the reasons I am not very hot on Chinese food. If you like Chinese, then there is nothing wrong with what they served - in fact it was quite good. On the raw bar they also had beef strips, lamb chops, fillets of a white fish and salmon, and squid. All looked fresh, and none of it was "funky". I took a trip to the cooked bar where they had a beef stir-fry with onions, a roasted duck, fried shrimp, and a chicken in yellow curry. I tried a little bit of all of these, and they were okay, but not great. BUT - I say again. I don't like Chinese much. You might really like this place. They had a large desert selection with ice cream, bananas with a chocolate fountain, some sort of cake, leche, and fresh fruit. All seemed good, but I did not try anything. Would I go back? Only on those very rare occasions where I actually want Chinese food. Would I go back if I liked Chinese food? Definitely. One other thing - this place is very walkable from the "dangle-bahn".

Worst asian restaurant ive ever been to. The food was old!…read moreAnd more: many dishes were over and they didnt replace. What was left from the sushi was terrible: the rice was bad and the salmon was there for so long that it was already dry. The crew was also super slow. For this price I'd rather go to China City!
