Since my last review, I took my complaints to the Indique Pelham boutique and the ladies there - Stephanie (the manager) and LaTisha - have been gracious and sympathetic. It is always awkward to say negative things about a product to the faces of the people who represent and clearly take pride in their brand. I would rather say nothing at all. However, I think because of how highly I viewed Indique, my reaction to the fast decline of my original frontal was stronger than it would normally have been. Anyway, I came into the Pelham boutique *hoping* it was a product defect and purchased a new frontal at the Indique Little Neck location (it was the last Pressed Straight frontal they had in stock that day!), since Pelham was out of stock of Pressed Straight frontals. The 15% discount extended to me at Pelham was honored at Little Neck. The old frontal has been sent to Indique headquarters to be examined. As I wait, I can tell you that I very much enjoy my new frontal. It is about the same density of my old frontal pre-alteration (not exactly thick, but natural and to my taste). I did note to myself that, in person, the Natural Straight frontal appeared a tad thicker than the Pressed Straight frontals (I took pictures and actually examined the hair carefully this time). With the new frontal, I only had the front plucked (about 1 cm deep) and it is holding up to my satisfaction. Naturally, it sheds since frontals are delicate (even more so than closures) but the rate is leaps and bounds more acceptable than my original one. I have been correspondence with Stephanie and she has been helpful in recommending ways to extend the life of my frontal. Stephanie is well-informed while being courteous and professional. While I don't have a ton of hope that Indique Headquarters will deem my old frontal issue a manufacturing issue (I was not there when my wigmaker customized the frontal), and thus not get a refund (*insert MJ crying meme*), I harbor no hard feelings about my experience. However, I really hope Indique considers adding a new frontal using the same hair from the Bounce Collection and perhaps adding a warning or instructions that come with the frontal on how to maintain it (for those of us who have not done our due diligence on the subject matter - *hint* a care guide is on their website, but I couldn't find anything on plucking or Indique-approved frontal customization methods). It would also be cool if Indique looks into having several lace color options to reduce the level of experimentation needed in customizing their frontals. Frontals, in general, are delicate so the more options the company offers, the better it is for customers who are investing good money for a product that, by default, has a lower ROI than the less expensive bundles and closures. I would also love to see Indique bulk hair come in the Bounce texture so that we can have the option to ventilate/re-ventilate our Bounce (or "Bounce-like") closures/frontals/full-lace wigs and not resort to cutting expensive Bounce wefts to match them. You can clearly see I'm passionate about hair. I can't help it haha. My overall wig (made from 2 Relaxed Straight bundles and a Pressed Straight frontal) is simply beautiful. I have received soooooo many compliments and it looks like my REAL hair. This purchase was worth it for me. Ladies (and gents) of the kinky hair-textured variety, the Bounce Collection (at least the Relaxed Straight) is not only beautiful and resilient, it is perfect for a naturally seamless look. Thus far, I give Indique, as an overall company, a 4 and the Indique Pelham location a 5. That is a 4.5 average, which rounds up to a 5. ^_^ read more

Let me start off by saying Indique did NOT make a mistake by hiring Latisha!! Her customer service was outstanding and she took her time with me, even after noticing how indecisive I am LOL! When I told her that it was my first time in Indique, she happily gave me a tour through each and every hair they have in the store. And might I add, she knows her stuff!! She helped me the whole entire time trying to choose between two different bundle deals and never showed a sign of attitude. Very friendly and helpful young lady! Another thing I liked about Indique is that the hair does not have a smell. My last encounter with walking into a hair store, which I will not name to save from embarrassment, smelled HORRIBLE! Indique's hair however, does not have that issue. Although the hair is pretty expensive, the bundles that I have received are pretty thick and the feel of the bundles are amazing. I just bought the hair so I have not installed it yet; therefore I cannot tell if the bundles shed or tangle, but the customer service is awesome. If the hair is as great as the customer service, Indique will be getting more of my business for sure! read more

I've always heard so many good things about Indique Hair and I have friends who have used their products for several years. When I realized there was a Pelham location open, I knew I had to check it out. I called the day before actually arriving to the store and Patrice answered and told me the Pelham location had exactly what I wanted. I came into the Boutique the next day and Patrice was so pleasant and helpful - she knew her stuff! She showed me all types of hair and what would look best for my hair color and texture. I found the perfect match! Patrice was great and I know I won't be disappointed. It's so convenient and the quality hair is top notch. It is a bit pricey but so worth it and Patrice is SUCH a big help, great customer service and I am a very happy customer! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Indique Hair Pelham location. The manager, Audrey Hernandez, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My mother and I originally started inquiring about different styles and bundle packages and ended up leaving with our desired hair as well as other hair care products that we are excited to use. She was very patient throughout all of our questions and although we came near closing she still made us a priority and did not seemed bothered that we came late in the evening. I was very impressed with her background on all the products as well as suggestions for promoting hair growth of my own. Thank you Audrey for your excellent customer service, I will definitely be sure to refer a friend to your location! : ) read more

I had an amazing experience in the Indique Pelham boutique with Latisha last weekend. She was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. Since my mother and I were the only customers in the store she took the time to educate us on the different hair types, how to maintain the hair as well as the installation process, providing great tips and guidelines. Being able to touch and see the hair as well as the closure before making a such an expensive purchase was great! I would recommend anyone considering making a purchase of Indique hair go into the store first to experience the textures and styles in person. No surprises as you know what you bought unlike buying hair online which at times can be difficult. Thank you Latisha! read more

The customer service at the indique boutique located at 137 5th ave in Pelham ny is absolutely amazing. Patrice made my experience so amazingly pleasurable that I had to wrote this review. Her patience, knowledge, and wonderful interpersonal skills have made me a fan for life. I brought my daughter-in-law in to view the hair also and she showed the same courtesy amd patience with our billion questions and indecisiveness. Eventually she helped us to identify the types of hair that would best fit our lifestyles. If the customer service I received from Patrice in Pelham is any indication of the quality of hair I purchased we are going to have the most perfect relationship in history. Theresa read more
