After months of trying to work with insurance on our own, we reached out to firms that might be willing to take our case. We called a few different places and were not impressed with how we were treated.   My first conversation with Truitt gave me the feeling that I was being listened too, that they cared, and that they were the right team of people to help bring justice to our situation. In our first meeting, they made sure to set our expectations about the amount of time and effort that our case would require. We were confident in our choice from the very start because of the way we were treated in those first interactions.   For a whole year, Phil and the team worked tirelessly battling with different adjusters, documenting and spreadsheeting everything, and keeping my spouse and I updated/educated about the process. Truitt took the time to do everything correctly and the result was 2 settlements that we were both incredibly happy with. Because of Truitt, our case was able to close, we were made financially whole, and we were able to put our most traumatic life event firmly in the past.   Thank you, Phil, Richard, Sommer, and Carolyn, for all your empathy and dedication. Your work has allowed my family to move forward, and we will always be grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you.

Attempted to hire these people. Absolutely ZERO communication. Cost me money just to talk to them,…read moreand I wasn't given all the information I should have gotten (I'm on disability and I told them that). Very cold. Very impersonal. I sent an e-mail message when all calls failed to get a response when American Express took money from my bank account... and instead of a response, I get messages from OTHER creditors telling me that the attorney doesn't respond, AT ALL (they say). My experience here was really bad but maybe if you have actual money (it costs a thousand bucks for no communication and no help)... maybe if you actually have stuff and money... maybe if you're not disabled... maybe if you're not actually broke or in financial ruin... maybe then they'll help you. But that's pretty much every bit how "law," works these days, as in "only for the rich." This establishment took money from me and despite my best efforts to make more payments, didn't actually stop anything from going forward, making it even less possible for me to pay them. The money American Express took was actual bill money. And nobody cared. I still haven't heard from these people about them not working with me, I haven't gotten my money back from them, and they have promotions where they claim the first visit is "free." That wasn't even extended to me. I feel taken advantage of while I was already in (and while I still am in) a vulnerable position. I don't have the resources to pursue this in any tangible way. And I fully expect they'll pay Yelp to remove this review, again, because "fair," only happens for those with resources.

His follow-up has been excellent, and his entire team has been genuinely supportive, responsive, and professional throughout. What truly set Josh apart was his calm, diplomatic approach--especially when dealing with opposing counsel, George Guido, whose tactics included brash communication, unfounded accusations, and unnecessary threats. Josh stayed focused on facts, strategy, and results, never taking the bait and never losing ground. I couldn't have asked for better legal counsel. I would recommend Josh without hesitation to anyone going through a divorce--or any legal matter at all.

My fiancé was trying to adopt my 14 year old son. He assured me that he would have it done before my son's 15th birthday, which was in June of 2022, and nothing was accomplished. I had really wanted to push it and get things going before my son started school again in August 2022. You guessed it. Nothing. He completely ghost me in September. No updates. No papers filed. No adoption. A complete waste of time after several years.
