What an amazing find! We were in Grenoble last week on a cold, rainy day. We only had a few hours…read moreas we were passing through, but after checking out the nearby Museum of Archaeology (seriously, go check that out, too!) we were hungry and the dreaded 2 p.m. (closing time of doom for restaurants in France) was quickly approaching. We had no idea where to go so we just walked. We crossed a bridge and saw a sign for a restaurant. As it was pouring we just went inside, hoping they were still open. They were. The boyfriend and I love games. All games - video, board, card, you name it, we love it. So imagine our surprise when we walked in and saw tons of board games. Lots of fantasy-style artwork and D&D stuff everywhere! Plus, they had food! The server came over and showed us the specials. I had the Stout Pie. The boyfriend ordered a Curry Soup and something I can't remember. He ate everything - really enjoyed it. I loved the salad the pie came with. The pie was interesting, but I kept biting into bone, so that wasn't my favorite. But that salad! Wow, that was great! :) I even had the BF's, it was that good. The bathrooms are downstairs and I went just to check it out. There's a whole other section of tables downstairs with even more games. There's costumes and everything. Damn, we were wishing we could stay just to check out a game night. This place looks so awesome! We are already talking about returning just to check this out more in depth. The food is really great quality. You don't just get crap burgers and fries like you would in the States. They really have a deep menu of fresh, great items that will leave you very satisfied. Thank you, for existing, K Fee Des Jeux! We will be back - stay awesome!

I am an American an thus this will have my slant along with things about the French culture I don't…read moreunderstand. I am staying in the attached hotel on business for 3 weeks (this is not my first trip to France) and this is the only restaurant in the area open for dinner even thought Yelp has it as closed. It is expensive as I spent $34 for 1 large beer (ipa and pretty good, as a Vermonter that is saying a lot) and one main dish of Duck with roasted veggies. Apparently it came with fries but that was not to be seen on the menu. I would have preferred a rice dish that is more appropriate with duck. The menu was available in English which is always a plus for me. I just wish my kindergarten started teaching us other languages but that was unheard of in the 70's. I arrived at 7:55pm and could not sit at the bar which I prefer when traveling alone. I hate sitting by myself at a table (picture Steve Martin in "The Lonely Guy"). However I was informed this was not possible because the bar was going to have entertainment with a DJ and dancing. This did not happen while I was there but had to sit at at table anyway. I was the only person besides the wait staff in the restaurant. So when to the French eat dinner? Apparently 8pm is too early? There were a few people in the oppressive heat which I could not believe. Humility was over 80% and temp was over 80°. I was sweating walking the 500ft between the Hotel office and the restaurant door, no I am not 300lbs but 20lbs overweight for my height. But it is hot, Africa hot! Anyway What the hell is with all the bread. I got Bread with my beer then another course with my dinner. The server could not believe I did not want to order an appetizer, desert or coffee..Apparently I am a neanderthal, did I mention the fries? Enough with the starch. Back to the meal, The Duck was cooked well and had a nice sauce that complemented it and the roasted vegetables well. Again I would have rather had rice with this dish. I could not eat the fries as I already had too much heavy starch. I probably will go back and sample another round but ask for NO BREAD, Please.

Expensive and over-rated. It's the only only restaurant in the area and tied to hotel. However,…read moreeven by French standards the customer service in this abismal. Imagine how bad that is.... A French restaurant who's local clientele complain about the service.

Went here for dinner after a 50 mile day in the saddle, including Alpe D'Huez. Glad we got there…read moreright as they opened as it filled fast. We each ordered the priz fixe 28€ option; we each got onion soup; which was different from the one in Paris, but equally good. Emmentaler chews in place of grueyer; and the broth tasted almost mushroom-like. We added on 6 escargot; served out of the shell in butter and parsley; classic and delicious. Aimée had the mushroom ravioli, served in a crock dish; the sauce/cheese was sweet and flavorful; more ravioli pieces than entire ravioli; I had the fish of the day; sea bass with a vegetable sauce that had a deep flavor; came with cooked local in season vegetables, a perfect accompaniment. Aimée had the strawberry soup for dessert; came in a sundae dish with what appeared to be gelato in the middle; wonderful, tart. I had the local dessert as recommended by our waiter; walnut pie with chartreuse ice cream. The rich pie, with walnuts was offset by the ice cream in the most wonderful way. Our waiter was excellent; great recommendations, even though they were very busy he kept up and had a great attitude. Highly recommend - will be back if in Grenoble again
