While we love the old school in Philly, her new school, Indian Lane, is FANTASTIC as public schools go.
Built maybe 30-40 years ago it was designed as a "Junior High" (AKA Middle School), so it's bigger than most elementary school. Great facilities - but first and foremost superb teachers, counselors and administration.
Can't say enough good things about the prinicpal, our kids teachers, the music, art, physical education and after-school programs (After School is a separate organiztion).
The Bobcat is the School Mascot and each child takes the Bobcats Pledge:
Be respectful and responsible
Offer a helping hand
Be a friend to everyone
Care about feelings
Accept differences
Tell an adult
Stand up for what is right

For a public school - this is one of the BEST. read more
