RESTAURANT: 3 Stars Always lot of options but very long wait times even when it is not crowded. Maybe due to staff shortages that are hurting all businesses. Best samosas and mirchi Bhajji in twin cities. Other attractions are fresh sugarcane juice, Indo-Chinese food. Quality: 4 Stars Quantity: 5 Stars Service: 2 Stars This review is based on average of around last 5-10 visits to this place. Grocery: 5 Stars Great collection of both North and South Indian groceries. Recently they expanded it and added a big namkeen (snacks) section and extended their fresh Chapati (Roti, Indian Bread) section. If you are not from India: You should try their fresh chapatis (Indian staple Bread) to taste what Indians eat on daily basis as naan is not our staple food.

Five stars for the excellent fresh whole wheat chapati that India Bazaar makes in front of you. Put it in a dry pan until it puffs up, and swipe some butter on both of the paper thin sides, and scrunch it up with your tongs. These are the best chapati ever! They have a large selection of Indian ingredients, including an entire aisle of various crispy puffs to make a hundred different varieties of bhel puri. Don't forget to stop by the restaurant to pick up something to go. They have wonderful dosas, dal, entrees and appetizers. They have been very strict upholding the highest standards to prevent Covid spread. My only complaint is that the store is a little dingy and messy.

This has been a to-go Indian grocery shop for a lot of Indians from the Hopkins area after the closure of Namaste Plaza. This is a pretty big store with a lot of options from veggies, freshly made rotis, restaurant, meat shop and they also sell small snacks like samosas, puffs and even quick eats like subjis and biryanis. The rotis that they make out of the huge roti maker are fresh and hot. Make sure you buy a pack of it if you are here for the first time. The veggies are fresh for most of the time and they do a good job of replenishing it promptly. They have a large variety of readymade mixes and pickles too. One thing I haven't liked much and the reason to rate this place one star less is the stench that comes out of the meat section as they cut through it. No disregards to people who eat meat but the smell is highly intolerable to people like me who don't eat it. I have informed this politely to the front desk folks couple of times, but they don't care to give a damn about setting it right. Nevertheless, this store is a typical Indian Walmart shop where you can find anything under the sun and the sections are neatly categorized to provide a seamless shopping experience.

Samosas, vegan by default ($4). Tasty and loved the roasted green chili (super spicy!).

This is a typical Indian grocery store/cafe---in a suburban strip mall, offering packaged products along with a standard slew of North and South Indian hot foods in a run-down cafe. That said, the selection of packaged and frozen goods was above average, with stuff you can't find elsewhere. Also, the hot foods were really tasty. The cafe is disorganized, slow and not terribly friendly, which is why I'm docking them a star. Vegan pro-tip: Indian grocery stores tend to be highly vegan-friendly, both in terms of fresh and packaged goods. Take a look at my photos and explore for yourself to get unusual products you won't find anywhere else. The veggie samosas ($4) are great and I loved the roasted green chili they give you. These things are super spicy. The mango dal ($6) was delicious with good texture and heartiness, though I wish it had been slightly less liquid. The veggie puff ($3) also tasted good and was filled with a mixture of corn and chickpeas. If you want the best cheap packaged vegan ramen around, get the Maggi Masala Atta Noodles ($3). Once you've had these, Nissin or whatever other brand, you won't go back. I also highly recommend Kurkure Munch or Bikano Chatax as snacks. These are basically Cheetos, but spiced with actual herbs and Indian flavors, instead of fake cheese and artificial flavors. They're also all vegan.

Amazing Chai Samosa with a Chilli place!! Yes my readers I am talking about the restaurant that they maintain. I am new to the city and you can tale the word of new girl in town . We ordered a to-go for Chicken Chettinad, Veg kofta curry , Chapati combo along with tea , samosa. I was totally delighted with the tea, samosa. The lunch was also delectable. Hence, I totally recommed this place to every one.

Its a small and nice place for Indian food. I love their food. Especially the biryanis. They always have a special item for evening and they will be exceptional in taste. The indo Chinese items are a must try. There would a little wait time to get your food. But it's totally worth the wait!

    New fresh meat counter!

So happy to see lots of positive changes and improvements to this store! I'm most excited about the meat counter they've added (zabiha for those who care) - fresh meat cut the the right way for our desi dishes =) Unfortunately (for some of us) they don't carry beef. They've also added a quick-serve counter with ready-to-go samosas, pakoras, mithai, etc., as well as expanded their fresh produce section!

Liked the pastries..especially the falooda pastry. Loved all their biriyanis. My top favorites are paneer biriyani & veg pulav with their salan & raitha.

As I am a fan of Indian food, went for breakfast today after seeing their Facebook post. The staff helped me by explaining the menu items and suggested me to try bonda something made with plain flour, that tasted heavenly good. Will sure go here very soon again!!!

It's a little unassuming from the outside but really good chai. It would be nice if they cleaned the tables for you.

Pretty good place for Indian groceries and vegetables. Their fresh made curries and chapatis are very good. Biryani is also pretty tasty.

I dropped by to check it out just before heading to a Minnesota Wild game on a Wednesday evening. I had no problem finding this mall and backing into a spot on my final full day in the Twin Cities. The entrance is straight ahead when you first walk into the store. You hang a left and you're in. I welcome this supermarket. There weren't many Asian supermarkets when I lived in Minnesota. It's about time! I didn't walk the whole store. I was impressed by the selection of beverages. I wish that I had visited this supermarket at the start of my vacation. I would have bought and consumed as many cool drinks that this store had to offer. My throat was a bit scratchy. I got a couple of cans of chrysanthemum tea. The brand that I got was decent. I liked looking at all varieties of instant noodles. I was in heaven! The produce section was also cool. Everything looked fresh and healthy. I got to see sugar cane that pandas would be envious of. Lychee. Kumquat. Lots of fruit that made me so happy. I hit the checkout. There were a bunch of open lanes. I got a nice man who helped me check out. I paid with a credit card. I paid, thanked him, and left to check out the mall. The tea was so good. It helped soothe my throat. It was nice drinking a can as I headed to Xcel Energy Center for the Wild game. I look forward to returning and spending more time checking out this supermarket. It's a winner. It's long overdue to have such a great Asian supermarket in the Twin Cities. (13)
