She started in the middle school girls groups and just finished her first year as an official Camp Counsellor. My wife and I have joined in on the fun over the years by enjoying the long weekend Family Camp events and in most recent years have introduced Camp Wood to your grand-baby, now 4. She loves that camp, and all activities. Our family has grown closer and have shared many great memories at Camp Wood. Thank you to all that have worked at, or ran this most outstanding Camp. I give 5 stars for what has included many incredible experiences, and I see many many more ahead. Your many improvements and new events along with new and upgraded buildings are making this camp one to not miss. The refurbished chapel is looking great and is going to be incredible once finished. Keep up the great work, teaching and bringing kids and families closer together with your wonderful, safe, adventurous, and very comfortable camp. The change from VASA...not great. Genesis reads more like a generic gym now. Staffing is FAR less…read morealthough I felt VASA was overstaffed at times anyway, but it seems to have swung in the opposite direction. I don't recognize many of the new staff so it appears not many former staff made the transition. The wipes for machines have run out on me twice, something that never happened for me personally with VASA. A bunch of the cardio machines are either unplugged or inoperable I noticed today. No one really greets you as you enter or says anything to you when you leave. Look, can you get your work out in still? Absolutely. That part hasn't really changed. Also, my VASA pricing is technically locked in for the switch in companies but I do feel guests are getting far less with Genesis than with VASA. VASA had its own host of issues, don't get me wrong but don't expect anything exemplary or unique with Genesis. I am also seeing all over social media I guess Genesis is extremely hard to break contract with so beware. I remain a member for now but definitely will be open to other gyms in the future.

Variety of options and everyone is mostly motivated. Don't see as much social hour amongst gym goers as you do at other gyms, which is motivating, yet people are still friendly. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, a little too gregarious at times lol... What we didn't like was that they didn't let us out of the barn cause it was our first friggin' time! We were there just to try it out ($20 a piece for an hour), although they offer full classes for interested individuals. Note to all the Wichitans who are always like "there's not much to do around here...", well there is! Go out and explore, horse back riding might be the thing for you.

Shoes not allowed or they have to wear booties. *parents didn't adhere to this, but they probably can't read* 2. The flexibility of staff: I had to come in multiple times a day to feed my son, he refused to take a bottle - they didn't care and I came and went as I needed. Staff kept me updated through their app and it was so easy to communicate with them. 3. Cameras. X2. 4. The art work. The amount of art work I got from my baby and staff was incredible. Every week I would come home with a new keepsake. 5. Staff is the highest of quality. They clearly are dedicated and love what they do. 6. They have a military discount! 7. You have until Wednesday to pay. Things that went wrong: 1. Parking. They just need more of it. But they can't help that. 2. The lunch lady never followed to shoe rules. They always try their best to open even when a lot of places would close for inclement weather for instance. They care and try to make as easy as possible for parents. Would definitely recommend.
