Yosemite national Park with family and tour guide

My family took the private 4 day Yosemite Sierra's trip. Our tour guide Brandon was well versed on the history of the area. We found him flexible for our schedule. Most importantly he was very considerate and accommodating to our elderly parents who joined us for this trip. For his thoughtfulness we highly recommend him and will be doing future tours with Incredible Adventures.

My wife and I did the Muir Woods and Sausalito package on 05Sep21...Our guide, Jake (I think this was his name, was just awesome! Jake did a narrative of the history of both locations and also personally engaged, which was very nice... Knowledgeable and down to earth! Cost of quality is on the mark... Highly recommend this tour service, guide, and package.

First and foremost, if you take anything from these reviews, this isn't a "Tour" Company like advertised, its a shuttle service. They pick you up, and drop you off. In the case of Muir woods, they aren't actually even allowed to give tours! We had a good time, but the only credit I can give to them is picking us up and dropping us off so we didn't have to drive. You're essentially paying for a shuttle and the admission, which for us worked out, but don't expect an actual tour. I booked the half day trip to Muir woods and honestly, it was pretty nice! The trip was the perfect length, we got there and back smoothly, and Muir woods was absolutely beautiful! If you're in SF and need to get out for a few hours, this was worth it!! Our guide was very polite and fairly knowledgeable though a little more information about the GG Bridge or Muir woods would of been great. Everything about SF has been great when dealing with Covid, however there was a passenger in our van that didn't wear his mask during the trip, and I wish the guide would of said anything at all about it. The 3/5 rating is for not enforcing the masking in the small van mostly, though I do wish there would of been more commentary about things we were seeing too.

My husband and I did the 2 day tour to Yosemite with Incredible Adventures (via Viator). The trip was exactly as described. There were only 4 of us on the tour so it was very casual. James was our driver/guide and provided us options on what we could do for the two days. We stopped at a grocery on the way to buy lunch and snack supplies and did the same on the return trip. I felt like we had plenty of time to see what we wanted and did a few hikes, but if you're a hard core hiker you would probably need more time in the park. Overall, it was a great experience! Highly recommend.

We had a great time on our Incredible Adventures Muir Woods and Sonoma tour! Our tour guide/driver Aaron was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience. We really enjoyed spending the day with him, learning lots of interesting info about the places we visited and things along the route. We were the only couple on this tour because the others canceled last-minute. We started in SF at around 8:10am and did a quick stop at the Golden Gate Bridge. Then to Muir Woods, followed by Robledo Winery. Both stops were totally awesome! We've been to about 6 wineries in Sonoma, and Robledo is now our favorite. We stopped for lunch in Sonoma Square (we recommend Hare & the Hatter Sausage Emporium), then went to Homewood winery and finished with beer at Carneros Brewing Company. Homewood was very good, and Carneros was just okay (we are beer snobs). We returned to SF at around 6:15pm. This was the first tour of this kind that we've been on. Definitely worth a little splurge - it was nice not to have to plan anything for a day, and of course having a DD for wine tastings is always a good thing. We really recommend this tour!!

Taken through the van window, this is a view of the forest valley below.

We did the trip to Muir Woods with Parker. He was so informative as went out of the city and toward the forest. Really seemed to be able to gauge the audience to see when to talk and when to not. He played a great podcast for us. Only suggestion would be to stop at the two lookouts along the winding road. Would have loved some good photos there.

You really can't do Yosemite justice in one day, but God damnit if Mitch our tour guide didn't give it his best shot.

With the Middle East war brewing out on 3/2/2026, the tour leader, Miko Xu ensures everyone that she will provide us with the latest arrangement for accommodation and transportation. However, on 3/4/2026, the tour leader, Miko Xu took only 11 tour members with her and left the remainder of 33 tour members in Dubai without informing them. Therefore, the 33 tour members were stranded in Dubai without any assistance from Miko Xu nor G-Top Travel to arrange the accommodation in Dubai and the transportation back home. Later, tour group members learned that Miko Xu, the tour leader returned to the United States while numerous tour members are still stranded in Dubai. As the result of the irresponsible tour leader, Miko Xu and G-Top Travel some tour members had to purchase the new airline ticket and/or to negotiate with airline using the existing airline ticket back home on their own. We understand that the warfare is an unusual circumstance; however, as paying customers, we expected that the tour leader and/or G-Top Travel will assist the tour members during this situation. We did not expect that the tour leader left us stranded in Dubai, and G-Top Travel did not take any action to resolve and mitigate this issue nor did not apologize their irresponsible action. Unfortunately, many of us who were left stranded in Dubai, are limited or non-English speakers and senior citizens. Coordinating the accommodation in Dubai and the transportation back home were very challenging to be handle by our own without the assistance from family back in the States. This post is shared to raise the awareness for other travelers who are planning to join G-Top Travel group to think twice before joining G-Top Travel group because G-Top Travel group and their tour leader are irresponsible and might left you behind.

Both my husband and I have very busy schedules, we did not have time to do the planning ourselves, we needed a travel agent to do it for us. We clearly expressed it to Rosie. First red flag was on our first phone call. Our expectation for this call was that the travel agent would spend this call gathering information from us and asking questions about what we wanted this trip to be. Instead, after the initial couple of general questions, she started looking at prices of the hotels on her computer while we were on the phone and telling us what they were. After the first 15 minutes of this, we tried to steer her into what we thought the main purpose of the call was, but she would jump from one topic to the next and to the other and then back to looking at hotel prices again. It felt like she could not organize her thought process. Finally, after 45 minutes of being on the phone and being exhausted from a lot of jumping around and not being able to communicate to the agent in the organized manner, we decided to end the call with the agreement that we would communicate by email. Rosie started looking for the airfair for us. Her prices were very high and the flights she kept offering were at a very inconvenient hours - in the middle of the night or very early in the morning or with very long layovers that would make the flight unnecessarily long. We explained to her that we prefer more comfortable times and flights since it was going to be our vacation. That did not change anything. After a lot of back and forth, we felt a lot of stress and pressure where she would say that there was nothing else she could find from her wholesaler. Feeling between the rock and a hard place, we ended up going on-line and looking for tickets ourselves. We found a very good price on Priceline, 35% less expensive that her price with comfortable hours and flights. We told her and she was OK with us purchasing the tickets on our own. Now, we thought that the rest of the trip - hotels and organizing the itinerary would be fun and easy. Boy, were we mistaken. Rosie gave us an approximate/1st draft itinerary with some hotel suggestions. Being first time to the Middle East, we had questions about the itinerary and we did not like some of the hotels that she proposed. It would take her several days to respond to each email, and in her response she would ignore half of our questions. We had to send follow up emails, she would not respond for several days, then respond with half of the answers again. That was about the itinerary. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, entertainment recommendations, walkable streets where we could walk around in the evening, she would not know the answers at all. Her answer was "The information that I have is old and outdated, you can get this information from your hotel." Really? isn't it your job, as a travel agent, to have an updated information? Isn't this why we needed a travel agent so we don't have to scramble for this information when we are in a foreign country, not speaking the language. It was back and forth, we were running out of time, it was getting close to our trip time, we were not making any progress. She would not care about our time, she did not care about the information that we asked for. After 1.5 months, we felt that we did not accomplish anything, we did not get passed that first draft of the itinerary and unsuitable hotel recommendations. She did not complete a single thing for our trip. The only item that we had after working with Rosie for 1.5 months was the plain tickets that we purchased on our own. After depleting all our patience and being completely stressed out, we had to find another travel agent. Fortunately, he did a great job for us and we ended up having a great trip. As far as Rosie is concerned, even though she did not get anything done for our trip, she refused to refund the $300 fee that we paid her to prepare our trip. We believe that Rosie is completely disorganized and lacks knowledge in the travel industry. She indeed has outdated information from the time when she travelled to the Middle East herself 10 years ago. Even bigger problem is that she is not willing to do a new research and provide her clients with the new, updated information. If she is not interested in updating herself and all she does is re-use the same information year after year after year, she should not be in a travel industry that is constantly changing. In our case, we asked for a new information (like anybody else would), she just ignored us, did not respond to our emails, dragged her feet, ignored our questions, and wasted our time hoping that we would just go with it. Awful experience!
