This is a fab little gift-shop which sells everything from books on cupcake baking to lovely handmade jewellery. I came in here to buy some stocking fillers for my mum just before Christmas and was delighted at all the lovely things they have on offer. There's elaborately decorated diaries for gardeners, coasters with cats dressed as Abba (amazing) and cute animal-style shoes for little babies. They also have a vast range of greetings cards of a far higher standard than most high street chains- with some lovely arty ones and some really funny ones. The jewellery is in glass cabinets along the wall and is really reasonably priced.

With a lot of vintage minxes out there you can be sure to find something from your preferred decade - if not the real thing (some things are very pricey!) then the owners know their stuff to point you to something that will look the part for your budget. They are happy for you to browse and enquire about different pieces.

This is true one on one customer service, as the kind gentleman behind the till, Mr Graves of the name, will find you, without fail, a piece that you'll fall in love with. Their secret power is the fact they cater to all - they have really affordable items, from £8, to things that most of us couldn't afford in a long time, as their catalogue extends to items near £8000. Nevertheless, the quality of service to both the £8 customers and the £8K customers is just as good. Even if you're not after a purchase, it's worth a look to be overwhelmed by the beauty of the shop itself, and then the items they keep. With adverts placed in Vogue, Tatler, and Harper & Collins, they have some serious clients and are decidedly Cliftonian, but these are all good things in my opinion. Go search for those gems!

I have bought flowers from here for gardeners and they have been impressed, which kinda says it all. It is her knowledge and dedication to the industry that really shines through in this wild pink and green floral bouquet of a store. This isn't a run-off-the-mill florist offering baskets of pre picked flowers and plants fit for a student's bedroom. On the contrary it is something very unique and different; a shop where specific types of flower are bought in and sold similarly specific. Even if you're not sure what flowers would be best for what occasion, rest assured Tilly Tomlinson and her more than able staff will be happy to assist. A colourful, happy shop built with love and smelling oh so beautiful.
