I got three massages at three separate places, all of the generic Asian strip mall variety. They were perfectly nice and all but they didn't relieve the pain. I searched for some type of chiropractic massage and stumbled upon this business. I was desperate for some type of relief so gave a call. Spoke to Daniel and explained my symptoms. Also explained that I was on a bit of a budget since I am presently unemployed, so he recommended his associate Antonio. I texted Antonio and set up something for the next day. I arrived at a very shiny office in a building off PCH. I met with Antonio and explained my pain and where it was located. Also went over some of my medical history (I broke my femur when I was 12 skiing in France). He gave me a bit of a breakdown of the body and how stress gradually builds up. All it takes is one movement or activity that can cause those muscles to flare and tighten up. He proceeded to give me an excellent massage. He is obviously familiar with the human body and how the muscles are interconnected. He focused on the area where my pain was while also working on the muscles surrounding it, all which can pull on one another as well as the bones, as he explained it. He knows what he is doing. He used the perfect amount of pressure. He made sure I was taking deep breaths. I even felt my back being adjusted a couple of times. I am glad to say the pain is gone! It was an hour massage for $100, and I can say it was money well spent. When we were done Antonio gave me some stretching tips. I am very thankful and wholeheartedly recommend this business.

We had to cancel our first session based on a power-outage on her end, where I waited a complete hour before I found out why. As a result of this she offered an "extra" session. During this session I was unable (distracted) to get into a desired "state" and I stopped it at 12 min. in when Amy said a distracted mind was a good thing - so I apologized and we agreed to book a new session. In the downtime between sessions I sent Amy a full report on my ADHD as well as a ChatGBT discussion on what to ask for from a hypnotist and that actually referred to Amy by name. The new session was cancelled by Amy a day before due to an illness she had and booked for the following day - all of this back and forth was done via texting and then maybe 10 min before the rescheduled session she sends me a text stating that we were done because I was "combative and aggressive". I admit to being seriously disappointed in her methods but I DID apologize and there was zero opportunity for me to demonstrate "combative and aggressive" behavior again. In fact, after I sent Amy the report I had about me and she responded with " I believe I can help you" - so one can imagine how disappointed I was when she cancelled me completely. Then comes the full refund I expected but Amy DID charge me for the aborted first session, disregarding her "freebie" and then charged me a complete session fee for reading my report ! She is a LIAR for taking back the free session and also for saying she could help me and PETTY for charging me for a 12 min session and reading a report that did NOT take 45 min. I apologized again and asked her to consider either splitting the difference or, at the very least, splitting the cost of reading my report - and she just said she "considered our matter closed" . Now I fully realize there are 2 sides to every story, so I reached out again after our matter "was closed" asking why she changed her mind from being welcome to continuing. I asked her what I said or did via text, email, or voice mail that over-wrote the desire to continue a professional relationship - all to no avail. She arbitrarily cut me off and was unable to even negotiate what a fair settlement could be. Two sides to every story for sure - but she led me on for sure.

This is something that my husband and I are not disagreeing about. It was just one fact mentioned in a story. Three things: 1) my husband and I didn't ask for parenting advice (nor is Ms Barrett a parenting expert), 2) my husband and I aren't disagreeing about holding our daughter's hand at bedtime, and 3) we didn't need to be interrupted while talking. Ms Barrett interrupted a lot, and I didn't feel that the interruptions were for good reason. One time I wanted to talk about something slightly off topic. She interrupted me. I said I still wanted to discuss it. Afterwards, she repeated that she didn't want me to go off topic, and she "saw that coming." She does have a lot of good information though.
