The best I could think of was comparing it to THE benchmark of all HotDogs... IKEA. Yeah, right, IKEA! You know this food place, where you can buy HotDogs right after the cashier? Exactly, cheap IKEA Hot Dogs! But anyway, back to Hot Dog No. 1 It's a stylish place, relatively small though. It is well located in front of the Bilker Arcaden. When I was there, not many people were buying, so I had to try. I had a Standard Hot Dog with everything on it. It was nice, it tasted like a good Hot Dog has to taste. Compared to my benchmark HotDog from IKEA, you are getting a tasty, crisp snack. Not that IKEA ones are bad, but you can tast immediately that this a different thing. Only 4 stars, because I find it expensive, especially compared to the IKEA one. Anyway, its a good place to snack! I'll go again!

The organic sausage wrapped around toasted flatbread was juicy. The most dominant flavor came from the cherry tomato comfit. Everything else was very settle. The salad unfortunately was drenched in its dressing and completely lost its crunch. The flatbread to me wasn't toasted long enough. Overall the taste was still very pleasant. SERVICE I have read some reviews before I went here and a lot of reviews pointed out the excellent service. Well, I can only agree. The service is outstanding. The waitress I had during my visit was very friendly, attentive and on top super cute and attractive. ATMOSPHERE The interior design alone is worth coming here for. Usually a lot of the new places go for the more industrial look. Very sleek and modern. This one is very old fashioned but in a stylish way. There are so many details to enjoy. It felt like stepping back in time. Sit, relax, enjoy your food and a wonderful service. RATING In my opinion only the execution of the food had some minor issues. We were seated immediately and every staff member we passed by was so kind and warm to our group. We all ordered Kölsch as well as the feast meal, spätzle, pork schnitzel, sausage, and sauerkraut. The feast meal easily fed 4 people and this was the best item we ordered hands down. The ambiance was so lively and everyone in the restaurant was so joyful to be there. We decided to sit outside, but because it started to drizzle, we went inside. We paid for our drinks outside and brought them in with us. The waiter was not friendly. Asked if we had paid for our drinks, I said we paid outside. I'm not sure if he believed me. When he finally came to take our drinks outside order, he seemed irritated with us. We got our drinks and order our meals. Our meals arrived very quickly and everything was wonderful. However, upon closing our bill, the waiter got very angry with me saying something about good service and no tip. We are literally in Germany where you don't tip. It's a cool place to see, but I'm not sure I would go back.
