Referred plenty of college buddies, co-workers, friends, & never heard a complaint of "bad hair cut," OR any other proceedure. And while normally, one can't choose a senior student over the "newbies," all levels of experienced students delivered a great haircut. While experience varies, I always get great scissor cuts, neckline shaves, and the best chit chat from students. Only once had an older student, a cheerful foreign speaking lady (who knew maybe 15 words of English, per her instructor), and my cut took +40 mins... But she was meticulious; got directions from instructor, asked my preferences, then washed, massaged scalp, cut & trimmed, razored, dried, AND when asked, applied anti-gravity freeze gel to beat a hair messing windy day !! THAT student earned & deserved a generous tip !! And luckily missed a parking meter ticket to boot!! Yet finally, and sad to say, not even one CCU student to date has been able to stop those pesky trimmed hairs that inveitably get down (every man's) neckline...just saying... My student didn't rinse the dye out of my hair on the base around my hairline so when I put my fingers in my hair they were DRENCHED WITH DYE. I asked the student and she said that's normal and to be expected... BS!! I also had tinges of blonde left in my hair.. which isn't right for how dark of a color I was getting over the blonde. So to sum it up, this student left dye in my hair so bad that I had to rinse it out by myself when I got home, cut way more off my hair then asked for, and left some light tints in my hair. Never doing this again PS. Asked for a refund and they replied with "no we don't do refunds.."What a joke, I've never heard of such a thing- do yourself a favor and save your money and time and appearance and go to an ACTUAL SALON. Great clips could do it better.

They only charged us for 1 day, even though we will have it Wed evening-Friday afternoon, which is awesome. New, integrated BCDs in sizes larger enough to fit us -- and the prices were great. We come up to Minnesota every year and are excited to have a local shop to work with while we start diving all the mines, quarries, and Great Lakes!

i must admit this is my first review using yelp. it is also the first time i have felt strongly…read moreenough to write a review on a dive shop based solely on sales rather than a dive experience. unfortunately this is not a good one. i have done a lot of online shopping for different products over the past years including scuba gear. and it is true that not all web based suppliers have very good customer service. but this has without a doubt been the most frustrating attempt to make an online purchase i have ever experienced. i tried contacting the lake superior divers supply last year to see if they were interested in doing our annual servicing on two sets of aqualung/apeks regs. they never answered either of my two emails. i found that odd. i tried contacting them again this year about upgrading our current regs by purchasing two sets of apeks regs. i was pleasantly surprised when i received a very speedy response. we were prepared to make a special trip to duluth for the purchase. we were also prepared to bring them back each year for the required annual servicing. so i sent another short email to verify a couple of easy questions before completing the deal. no reply. i sent another. no reply. after the realization sank in that for whatever reason this company had no intention of allowing us the privilege to spend over a $1000 at their store, i sent a final email expressing my genuine disappointment as well as sincerely giving them some constructive criticism. guess what.....no reply. duluth has been a place many of our friends and family regularly visit. and the majority of the time we receive excellent customer service and are happy with our experience there. sadly, lake superior divers supply is a now a blemish for the city of duluth.

The first time I talked to her, she called me stupid. She interrupted me several times and she refused to give me an appointment for no apparent reason. Judy said to me, "I am not going to help you drive just for the hell of it." Judy charges $200 for two hours of driving. I found a driving educator that charges only $110 for two hours and does not insult me during the first conversation.
