I am a Registered Nurse who works in Hibbing and am very protective of my baby. He was born premature and due to this, I had to take extra time off to care for him. When I was ready to go back to work, I was extremely cautious. Not only did I check this place out via state reports, researched them heavily, but I would also drop in often unannounced and check on him. This daycare is hands down the only reason why I was able to go back to work. The way the daycare works is they have an Infant 1, Infant 2, Infant 3 room, than it moves up to Toddler 1, Toddler 2, Toddler 3, and continues into the preschool ages and school aged kids. My baby started off in the Infant 1 room and there is no where else I would ever send my baby or possible future kids. I want to start off by saying I was an extremely anxious to send my baby to daycare, but the staff here put me at complete ease. Pat is the owner and she has been nothing short of fantastic. Kym and Amber who work in the office are seriously the best people I have ever dealt with. They work hard and truly care about the kids. Amber is the head teacher in Infant 1, and she has been there for several years along with Karen, Robin, and Faith. In the infant 3 room, Miss Tracey is absolutely amazing as well. This daycare has been around for multiple years and I am sure people in town have their complaints here and there but this operation provides care for hundreds of children in town, and the biggest thing is that on the worst weather, they are always open when other places shut down and close, allowing working parents to be able to continue to go to work. It is extremely evident that this daycare deeply cares about kids, and they have always accommodated every request I had, no matter how crazy. When I am worried about him or just want to see how he is doing I call and they always give me an update. When I pick him up I get a detailed report on how he is doing. I personally pay out of pocket but I know they take county daycare assistance as well. If you have any hesitations, I would take this review to heart and give them a chance. They have provided outstanding care for my baby and will continue to get my business for years to come. They are care, compassionate, and you will not find a place more flexible and nurturing to send your kids to. If you are pregnant, I would put them on the wait list to ensure a spot when you are ready to go back to work because I know they usually have a long one.

Poison control said he could not be outside due to his eyes being sensitive and they told her they couldn't keep all the kids in for one kid. So basically admitting they were understaffed! How are you not going to accommodate a kid for something you caused. Also how about rubbing the sunscreen in all the way next time. Not only that but when I came to pick him up they left him laying on the ground outside crying in pain because he shouldn't have been outside to begin with. Also they did not tell me about this incident until I picked him up! 9/28/2022 So I was called today and told that some kid pushed my son off the slide(downplayed) but that he had calmed down and was doing fine. After picking him up I was surprised that I didnt hear the amount of yelling I typically hear when my son is "uncooperative." One of the teachers even said they thought he was being "dramatic". I took him to the doctor and found out he broke his collar bone! 1 week with my youngest and they got sunscreen in his eyes(I moved him to another daycare) and less than a month with my oldest and now his collar bone is broken! Not to mention when I would drop my youngest off he would cry but never does that at his new daycare!
