I absolutely love In Motion OC!! I have been dealing with chronic pain from rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, and degenerative disc disease for years. I have been treated by many specialists and prescribed a boatload of medication, none of which provided much relief. I have tried other physical therapy clinics in the past, but typically gave up treatment after a few weeks, due to overcrowded centers and little 1:1 attention. In Motion OC is different. They provide individualized therapy, centered to each individual patient. My therapist, Michelle, is absolutely amazing! I have a wide array of symptoms and there hasn't been one thing Michelle has not been able to address. I had spine surgery last year which caused atrophy, numbness and tingling in my left arm and hand. I've gone to a few physical therapy locations in Huntington Beach for past injuries. I've been going to see Louie at In Motion OC on Bolsa Chica and Heil for the past few months and highly recommend Louie and this location for post surgery therapy. Louie is friendly, he listens and analyzes your current condition and takes his time to explain your recovery plan. This location is clean, plenty of space and has a separate gym next store that they utilize. The aides are very friendly and caring. There's enough aides present that someone is always with you to make sure you are doing your exercises correctly and that you are safe. I go to PT twice a week. Louie is gentle and non-intimidating. I look forward to my visits. Louie analyzes my current condition and determines if I continue with my existing program or if we need to add or increase my difficulty level. At the end of each workout Louie does massage therapy my arm and shoulder. Scheduling or rescheduling an existing appointment is easy. If you are looking for a PT location that has knowledgeable, professional and kind staff you can't go wrong with this location. read more

Dr. Maddie is THE best! I visited for the first time today with some shin pain from running. Check in was super easy and a total breeze. The clinic was so cool, lots of equipment and they have a pretty amazing looking gym adjoining the clinic. I showed up 6 weeks ago unable to stand still for longer than three minutes without significant hip pain. After two weeks of working with Maddie my pain was reduced by 90% and would have been tolerable if that was where I ended up. Today I "graduated" and thanks to Maddie/In Motion I have not experienced any pain while standing for the last three weeks. In addition to eliminating my standing pain, today my overall body feels better than it has in a long while. I became a patient of Mitchelle's in July when my lower back decided to freeze up on me. From the first day she treated me I knew I was in good hands (pun intended). I've been in therapy off and on for the last 20 years, mostly because of my low back, and Mitchelle is without a doubt THE BEST physical therapist I've ever seen. From the start she showed me different ways to move my body to prevent another 'episode'. Her attention to detail and her knowledge of how the body works is extremely impressive. Not all Physical Therapy places are equal in the quality of care you receive! It took 6 years and 8 different PT places till I came to InMotion OC. They were highly recommended by my co-workers and I finally got the treatment I needed. After 20 years of debilitating chronic pain, I'm finally pain free and prioritize my muscle health. I lost so much muscle from the other PT places telling me not to lift anything over 10 lbs. I was told I could never again do any of the things I love like scuba diving or paddle boarding. InMotion is different. They believe motion is the lotion and focus on getting you to the place where you can do whatever you want. They really care about their patients and listen to you! I think that is key. They make sure you're comfortable and will spend extra time to show you an exercise and adjust your corrective exercises as needed. He was patient and listened to my challenges, provided an in depth recovery plan and was always there to help me modify it as I progressed. I cannot recommend In Motion OC HB enough. Amanda and her staff are excellent skilled practitioners who care about their patients and moving them forward in their progress towards wellness. This facility IS NOT like others who want to milk your insurance for profit. They are honest in their assessments and keep up-to-date progress notes. Every session Amber meets with you and determines your progress and makes any needed modifications to your treatment. While performing your exercises at the facility, you are constantly being watched to ensure you are doing them correctly. On your first visit, you leave with a folder of exercises to do at home, and there is also an app you can download for more clarification. Giving credit when it's well deserved is important and I have to say that Amanda (Doctor of Physical Therapy) has been instrumental to my recovery. The amount of care she provides during each session is something I have not seen by many physical therapy clinics from Los Angeles to San Diego County. YES, this opinion matters for having my fair share of injuries and treatment process since I spent the last 20 plus years in the military. I have seen my fair share of physical therapist out there. If you are reading this, perhaps you were on the same boat as I was months ago looking for the right facility and professional medical care to get back on track of being healthy again. The entire staff of this particular clinic understands what it means to have above reproach customer service. Anna (front desk) has been on point with accommodating all scheduled sessions to include cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. Lastly, I give Kayla (Physical Therapy Aide) for never letting me out of her sight when performing my movements during each session. I can tell you that most facilities out there will leave you by yourself for that hour and just collect the significant amount from your insurance without evaluating each of your performance to ensure it was done correctly and systematically.
