My daughter is in cheerleading and our organization ordered team sweatshirts and other clothing…read moreitems from there. I ordered two sweatshirts one for my daughter and one for myself. Hers came out fine but mine was to small...the sweatshirt itself had the right size in the tag bt clearly mismarked. A small and a 2x can't be the same size! So I brought it back and they took it and said it will take two weeks and the will call me. Well 3 & 1/2 weeks later I still didn't hear anything so I called and spoke to a man names Chris. He said the sweatshirts were on back order and he will call me the next day to let me know when they would be in. Almost 2 weeks later I still didnt hear back so I called again. Chris said they will be in on the 15th (no explanation as to why he didn't call me back or even an apology). So they will get the sweatshirt on the 15th and send it out to be printed. I ask how long does that take...about two weeks. Are you kidding me? I said I've already been waiting alot longer than I should have n it should be top priority. The season will be over by the time I get it. He said he could try to get it done quicker but can't guarantee it. I said I should get some sort of credit for all this nonsense since it was a factory mistake and he basically said either I get a refund and no sweatshirt or I can take it up with the manufacturer. Some customer service. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

I was having a ton of trouble with the shooting strings on my head which affected the accuracy.She kept tinkering with it while I was there and asked me to try it after every adjustment. I just wasn't happy with the way the ball tracked. She insisted I leave it with her so she can make sure it's perfect. She swapped out the shooting strings to a different fabric and made the necessary adjustments and even used it to make sure it was too my standards. I couldn't have been happier with the customer service. PS... She also helped me find the perfect gloves for my specific concerns. Lax equipment isn't cheap so when you make a purchase you want to make sure it's what you want and need. They are very attentive to the customers needs here.

Came here this past summer to buy a net for crabbing. You also get great customer service and information on the best places to crab -- something you won't get from a place like Walmart's sporting goods section. You'll be lucky to find someone who even knows what a crabbing net is there LOL. Also, the prices here are on par with what you'd pay at Walmart anyway. So go here and support a local shop, you won't regret it!

I usually wait 2 days for a box to arrive. But today, in the mood to go fishing and low on supplies, I remembered there was a bait and tackle place across from the pink pig in Miller Place. So off we went, not expecting much but pleasantly surprised. Walking through the front door, you could see that this store has a little bit of everything. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly woman, I'm pretty sure she was the owner, who happily helped us navigate the store and after asking a few questions regarding what we were looking to catch and where we planned on fishing she picked out her suggestions and then gave us some space to shop without feeling pressured. She even checked the back for a lure that she said had been performing really well lately that seemed to be sold out on the sales floor. She found it and we bought it, along with several other items that we tried out down on the beach this evening. We will definitely be returning. It felt nice to support a local small business and I enjoyed hanging out in the store. There's a great vibe going on. They have pictures bordering the ceiling of locals with their catch. They said people come in after they've gone fishing to show them what they caught and have it weighed. That sounds like FUN. Maybe I'll do that, if I ever catch something BIG. Although, we usually fish more for sport and throw it back when we are done:) I'm loving this mom and pop!

Then, for the first time , we stopped here at Schwab's 2nd Wind in Setauket, a small storefront shop behind Stop and Shop. What a find. He had exactly the Hoka shoe we were looking for and my wife was so impressed with the "old fashioned " personal service of having the shoes removed from the box and personally handed to her. The icing on the cake? The price at this small store was LOWER than the big mall store.

It took over a month to get my board back (this should've taken all of 5 minutes), and when I got my board back, the bindings were all wrong. The last 2 times I walked in there, at least 3-4 workers standing at the front doing nothing would turn to me and give me a crazy look. Customer service took a massive dump.
