However, the reason for the one star is the customer service. We visited this shop one weekend and there was only one other customer in the store. The person working was standing close to the entrance door as we came in and never even looked at us let alone greeted us or said one word. She definitely saw us come in. It's a very small shop and we walked right by her. Then when we left she never said boo or looked our way. It was just plain rude and for this reason I will never return to this store. It's a shame that shopkeepers don't realize the importance of greeting your customers and making them feel welcome. For good customer service, I'm always willing to spend more money even if I feel the prices are way too high.

She commented that's not really how it works. She did call the buyer, they had what sounded like a judgmental conversation where the buyer rejected our offer and didn't offer a rebuttal. I went shopping with my 92-year-old mother for a recliner, which are all located on the second level. The only way to reach the second level is by climbing up three long and steep ramps. My mom almost couldn't make this trip up and back with her walker. Just before we left, while we were back at the sales counter downstairs, my mom asked to use the restroom. She was told it was back on the second floor, which was impossible for her to do again. There should be an elevator, and I can't believe this current system is ADA compliant.

This place is HUGE--like, "clear your afternoon" huge--with over 12,000 square feet of booths filled with everything from farmhouse decor and Depression glass to estate jewelry, vintage signs, and mid-century furniture. Each booth has its own vibe, which makes exploring really fun. You never know what you're going to find. I scored a vintage camera and an old travel trunk that I now use for decor. Prices range from bargain-friendly to collector-worthy, so there's something for every budget. The staff is super welcoming--Southern hospitality at its finest. They even gave me tips on some of the items and let me know about upcoming estate sales. Bonus: it's right downtown, so you can grab lunch or walk around historic Madison after you shop. I was super impressed when everyone at this week's sale recognized us. both sales we found items for our house but it is more the people and the conversations that really make you feel great about the entire experience.
