I explained that we have two boys in Military colleges and with one graduating soon, I wanted to capture them in uniform together. Stephen listened and gave me suggestions for locations. One can see them proudly hung in local businesses and private homes throughout Richmond. Most notably: Phil's Continental Lounge, Miller and Rhoads Condominium Lobby, The 2300 Club, and many more. My experience was in purchasing some of these historic prints in order to frame then as a Christmas gift for a friends home. The prints are black and white and start out at $20.00 unframed and $60.00 framed for a 5x7 size and go up from there. Dementi was started in 1924 and is now run by the third generation. The studio also offers professional head shots, portfolios, portraits, wedding and event photography and even will rent studio space in the building should you choose to shoot your own. I am also pleased to say that they are keeping up with the times by offering on line review of photos. A portrait session I was quoted for 8 prints was $100.00 which I think was very affordable. Next time you are downtown, stop in and walk into the lobby to view all of the prints they have for sale. It is a wonderful walk though Richmond history. He told us after we got there once the young ladies in front of us were done we could connect with Bluetooth to play our own tunes while we took pictures! He gave us a flash fob for our phone so we could easily take pictures and a tripod selfie stand to help us take good photos! The couple areas we were sad about is: AC was either off or not working which made it really hot in the building because, it's a brick building it radiated heat inside. Also it was obvious a few rooms were in transition changes... which made us sad cause one room I was looking forward to was a purple room with a bike and we got there no bike. Also they had transitioned their swing room from yellow to pink which I wasn't necessarily sad about but my besties favorite color is yellow so I had hyped up this room only to not have it for our photos. So all in all I would definitely go back so I could see what new things they do with some of the rooms! And the customer service spot on!
