It was of a large round plastic button with a picture of a unicorn on the front and when pressed, expressed wishes and dreams- the theme of her birthday cake. The cost? A whopping £6.50 but it WAS for a special occasion. After writing my heartfelt sentiments on every spare space on the card, wishing her a wonderful birthday, I checked the on/off switch before sealing it in the envelope. Imagine my disappointment when my daughter opened it and the card didn't work. I had spent silly money on an unforgettably disappointing experience!! I didn't want to return the card, it was too personal, so I took a video of it clearly showing the problem and went back to the shop with my receipt. Even after showing the video and receipt I was told I had to return the card before getting a refund but I did not want to take back my daughter's card, This was not a good shopping experience and I shall not be returning to Something Special.again.
