They offer a huge range of luxuries including Dermalogica body treatments and skincare, massage, waxing, tanning, sunbeds, make up, facials and teeth whitening! phew! They even have a surgeon offering restylane (botox). It really does cater for all and offers some great Bridal and day packages! The massage is such a treat and the sunbeds are really good with an offer on at the minute of 90mins for £30. Bargain! But get there quick as I've no idea how long its on for!

This salon is quite old fashioned compared to the new shiny tanning salons you see about now but the sun beds are top of the range and are retubed regularly. They have great winter offers on at the minute, 100 minutes for £25 and free teeth whitening when purchasing 100 minutes or more. This is a lot cheaper than most salons. I also noticed that this salon won Beauty Salon of the Year 2015!

The creams on sale are really nice and leave your skin feeling soft and smelling great! The staff are friendly and they also offer cards so you can buy your minutes in bulk. Happy Days!

Due to the fact that our previous two coffee shop choices had both closed (it was after 4pm, granted), the three of us were forced to look elsewhere. Sunshine Caffe seemed a good call, and looked particularly, well, sunshiney. Orange / yellow walls, cool pink and orange seating, and the staff sporting a golden glow and a bright t-shirt to boot...yes, it was almost like we'd stumbled upon a Caribbean island in east Belfast. Almost. With a menu as eclectic as it cafe / solarium, we were in for a few surprises. Hot chocolate / milkshake weren't an option, but coffee, a can of coke, a baguette or a jelly cup definitely were. Yes, a jelly cup. More a huge glass filled with three different layers of jelly (and a few nuts for good measure), a dollop of cream on top, and a sauce of choice drizzled on top of that. A heart-attack in a glass really. A jelly cup it was. They so happened to be half price, so £1 wasn't a bad call at all. One of my friends felt the sweet aspect of the dessert a tad more than myself or our other friend, and struggled to get past the first layer. My other friend nearly finished hers, but I downed mine no probs at all (and am now feeling the repercussions of this). The sugar disaster was furthered by a couple of cans of Fanta (I should be bouncing off walls), and a muffin was also consumed between my two friends. It came lovingly presented on a plate with a dollop of ice-cream and (yet more) chocolate sauce. Mmm... We left it at that, and decided to pay the grand total of £5.60 for three jelly cups, two cans of Fanta and a muffin. Not bad at all. My friend asked if they had a toilet, which apparently they didn't, so we had to dash over to Maccy D's for that purpose. I fail to mention the tanning booth / sunbeds, but as we didn't go anywhere near them, there's not much to say. The closest I've come to any form of fake tan is a bit of Sun Shimmer, so I wouldn't be a good judge of anything sunbed related, let me tell you that much. A curious little place...

Yesterday I attended an appointment at Jason Sharkey's on the upper newtownards road as someone…read morehad bought me a groupon voucher for Christmas to the value of 80 pounds. When I called to make the booking I ask what I would get for this £80 treatment and the girl on the phone told me she did not know . So I shaved at home thinking it will be a facal so a nice clean shave will help the beautician . But on entering I told her I've already shaved at home and yet she shaved me again . She then rubbed my shoulders and rubbed a oil into my face . Our appointment was for 11am but we called ahead to say we might be late . At 11.10 we entered the store now we where told the treatment would last 45 minutes in total but we were 10 minute late so I timed her . SHe left the treatment room at 11.35 making the appointment 10 minutes shorter than it should have been . Our appoint was not meant to finish to 11.45 . So a 45 minute treatment ended up being just a 25 minute treatment . I was told to put my shirt on again, and meet her down stairs on the way out . I was dumb founded that this would have been an £80 treatment so before leaving the shop I asked her was that treatment I got an £80 treatment she said no it only say that on the voucher but you don't receive and £80 treatment it wouldn't pay me to give an £80 treatment . I asked so why does your voucher state it's an £80 treatment . She said that's the way groupon do it . I told her myself or my partner will never be back and the fact that I might be the only person that has said this to her personally doesn't mean to say other people have left and were happy with their treatment . this is a trades description violation you cannot advertise and 80 pound treatment and then tell the customer they didn't get an£80 treatment because it just wouldn't pay her . I'm going to take this further because I just feel they can't rip people off like this. I for one took a day off work for this treatment which I have to say was absolutely terrible very disappointing and I'm quite upset about it . I was meant to feel relaxed after the treatment instead I was annoyed and upset that someone had just ripped me off . so DO NOT take up any groupon vouchers for this treatment because you will not get the value of the voucher AT LEAST NOT AT THIS STORE .
