    Downtown, Westown

Where to begin ? First of all the formerly known Grand Ave Mall location downtown could be a great…read morechoice but aside from the nice interiors of the store itself the mall is a discombobulated mess of design layout and a maze of fast food joints with no obvious way in or out. As for the Milwaukee Boot co their selection is great but the general sizing and lack of width selection is abysmal. I don't understand in this day of 3d printing and immediacy that a store like this would not offer any width options? I was set on buying a pair of suede ankle boots and the salesperson suggested sizing one 1/2 size down from my size 12 shoe size that I normally wear. Mind you I wear a 12B or have a narrow foot with high arch which makes it challenging finding and getting fitted to shoes and especially boots. After several tries fitting the Mills ankle boot the 10 1/2 seemed to be a good length for these boots which are made in India, but the D width was too wide and the material around my ankles closed up entirely. The mills boot doesn't have padding at the collar of the boot which didn't help. So my qs to the salesperson begged to reason what are the boots sized to if I wear a euro 45 and normally fit a size 12 B but now he's trying to fit me into a 10 1/2 D boot That's clearly poor fitting ??? His answer was insufficient and lacked any clarity and he tried assuring me that their boots are standard sizing . Funny . Standard to whom I say. And why in the world would any new shoe company in the world not offer any options for widths? Not all feet are created equal and I can't possibly be the only person wanting a width options? Their loss on a potential 250. Sale. I'll continue looking elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks to Milwaukee Boot Co with boots made in India ? Really?

They have been in-store for around a year, and are happily growing. If you can't find the store front, it's because you are probably annoyed with how atrocious the parking situation is. The Eastside gives everyone that feeling. The store environment screams Pinterest and Etsy. You'll find leather totes, baby clothes, tiny aloes, air plants, coasters, headbands, jewelry, candles, lotion, homemade cards, ceramics, chapstick, beard oil, bar soap, men's facial care, and more. This store sells Permanent Baggage, but also inventory from other Wisconsin artists, like Big White Yeti, Ginger & Waldo, Artery Ink, and James Steeno. For the essential oil fans, Doterra is sold here. The store is also part studio for employees to work on their artwork. It looks very convenient. The space is small, but not cluttered. Prices are $$ to $$$. Be sure to sign up for their e-mail newsletter, which includes exclusive discounts and store events. E-mails are sent out sparingly. Purchase and you'll receive a 10% off card for your next visit. Mention Yelp and you'll also receive a 10% off discount for your first purchase. You can also find store inventory and some discounts on their Facebook and Instagram. This place is great for gift giving and treating yourself. You'll feel right at home.

Part of the retail storefront is a work space, which is really cool because you can see products being made. I also love that many items utilize Milwaukee as a focal point of inspiration, such as a leather wrapped flask or mug with a map of the city. Stop by this store. You won't regret it!
