We had baked chicken which I didn't try. Mostaccioli was just your average pasta you get at any wedding, roasted potatoes had no flavor, green beans, sausage and peppers which were just ok. They had a nice salad which was good. They also had rolls but they were dry. I personally was disappointed in the food. A friend of mine felt the same way.

I would rate this place as 0 stars if I could…read more Attended a wedding for close friends this weekend - they paid EXTRA to ensure the menu was Halal, and HALFWAY THROUGH DINNER the DJ announces "OH BTW THE MEAT IS NOT HALAL". But the organizers (bride, groom, parents) were not aware of this issue until they heard the announcement, at the same time as the guests. This is a huge issue, as it was a Lebanese/Italian wedding, and the bride couldn't even eat. In addition, the staff was rude, abrasive, and unhelpful. The big security guy who walked around just raised his voice, and would not listen to any concerns. We were kicked out of the lobby (bride and groom as well) as we were waiting for an Uber. When the bride realized she had left her bouquet with FAMILY HEIRLOOMS, we could not get anyone to come talk to us or open the door - we had to enter through a side door, to which the security guy yelled: "YOU IN THE SUIT, WHO LET YOU IN HERE?" Overall, I hope that the newlyweds get a refund, because the service was slow, the bartenders were awful, and half of the attendees couldn't eat the food, as it was not halal. It seems that half of the attendees were discriminated against for their religion/culture. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED.

The night before our event, everyone on staff pitched in to help us set up. Nicole even went out of her way to find us table numbers that went along with our theme. During the event, the bartender, Kenny, along with the servers, were polite and efficient. Regretfully, I did not take any pictures of the food. My favorite dish was the Swedish meatballs, though the meatballs in the Asian plum sauce were great, as well. The chicken marsala had a prominent wine flavor. I also sampled the chicken piccata. I typically prefer piccata, but enjoyed the marsala more. The mostaccioli was tasty, and the pesto drizzle on top was a nice touch. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also delicious. While the food was definitely a highlight, more than anything, Noah, Nicole, James, and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with. If you have a big event coming up, I highly recommend Lakeland Manor.

The only issue was that you don't get to take any food home that is leftover. We had to pay for the minimum of 75 people on a Sunday and didn't have that many attend. There was a good amount of food left over and they took it away before offering seconds or letting us take any. I've been to other halls where you get any food that is leftover. So this was disappointing. Unfortunately I don't think I'd book here again for that reason.

There were many amenities like, a great basic variety of linen to choose from, uplighting, a fog machine(I didn't use), a grand piano( which I hired a pianist to play during my entry), full service bar with a wine cooler, ice machine and fridge and sink( with the top shelf liquor my husband stocked and the ideal bartender my guest raved over the open bar), the VIP room was great, the bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and stocked. The space in size was great! The separate entrance for vendors was ideal. The kitchen had everything a cater would need to prep for your event even though it's no cooking on site. The owner LaDonna and husband Gerald were awesome! They made sure that everything flowed smoothly for me. The hospitality they offered was beyond being just business owners; my experience was very personable. LaDonna made suggestions throughout my planning process and I absolutely loved the ideas! Over half of my guest inquired with me for information to book an event at RSVP Event Space. I hope more people bless this lovely couple with business they are well deserving and you definitely will be pleased!

We have been there for banquets and weddings and the was good so we figured why not try them for Thanksgiving. The halls has nice decor and is well maintained. They had a food option for people, but I don't like to eat and dance so I skipped the food. Everyone else that got the food seemed to enjoy it. It basically looked like the mass produced food you get at these types of events. Chicken, pasta, canned vegetables, rolls, and salad. The venue had a spacious area for dancing, which is always a big concern when you have like 200+ people dancing. I would come here again for a dance event.
