What started as "trying something new" became one of the biggest parts of who I am today. Martial arts gave me confidence when I had none, discipline when I wanted to quit, and purpose when I felt lost. Training wasn't always easy, physically or mentally, but I kept showing up. It is my goal to reach 5th Degree so needed a studio with higher ranks to do so. I found only a few studios that met the criteria - Las Vegas Taekwon-Do was one of them. From the day I met Grand Master Bosse I knew I found my next Master! He's humble, kind, treats his students and their families with respect on and off the mat. Whereas some teachers don't have the patience to deal with students with challenges and/or special needs - he does so with kindness and grace. I've experienced some classes at other studios where this was not displayed and it bothered me as someone who has worked with these kids. He and AJ - make the classes fun and engaging!! The atmosphere is about building people up, learning to defend yourself and being a good human being in the process. The studio does events outside of class to build friendship and connections like park days or hikes. As a mom of three that required all of my kids to do some form of martial arts - this studio is a great place for those kids are that extremely shy or timid. Grand Master Bosse is a Master of getting them to come out of their shell - I've seen it multiple times. Hope to see you on the mat soon!

CORE is truly unlike any other studio. Plenty of places can teach form, routine, and the fundamentals of martial arts--but it's something entirely different when a studio becomes a community, a family, and a place where real friendships grow. We had to take several months off this past year due to a demanding work schedule, and when we stepped back onto the mat last week, it felt like we never left. My kiddo was welcomed back with open arms and genuine smiles. After that very first class, I could see the difference in him--more confident, more grounded, and just so incredibly happy to be back. This studio checks every box. These amazing students learn far more than taekwondo--they learn discipline, respect, resilience, and confidence. And yes, the instructors are absolute experts in their craft. Words alone can't express the appreciation and love we have for this place. We can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.

We'd visited a couple of schools before in the last few months, and by far this was this was the right choice for him. Upon arrival, Master Young is very clear on the goals they teach and expect for children. What I really love and appreciate is the communication from him and Mrs. Michelle Young. We thought perhaps 4 years old was too young for Karate. But I have observed how patient and sweet they are with all the little ones during class session. While he's only been there for about a month, he is super excited about learning, and attending class 3 times a week. This routine has proven very good for him as well and he enjoys it tremendously. Glad to have our son be a part of an outstanding school that implements discipline, focus and respect, while providing fun physical activity for young ones. If you are considering enrolling your child in any Martial Arts, CD Young is highly recommended
