Despite my repeated expressions of pain, Dr. Fatemeh Mortazavi Alavi proceeded with the extraction without providing adequate anesthesia. This led to intense pain and a severe panic attack that lasted for over two hours, which the staff was ill-equipped to handle. Instead of providing real support, they repeatedly told me to "relax" and "calm down," which only intensified my anxiety. I was eventually transferred to the hospital, but the lack of urgency from the clinic only worsened my condition. Additionally, I developed infections at the extraction sites and had to seek care elsewhere. The lack of proper care and attention during such a serious procedure was deeply alarming. I was left feeling traumatized and have completely lost trust in this clinic. Despite multiple emails and a phone call with the clinic's senior manager, I still have not received a proper apology or resolution. This experience has left me emotionally distressed and deeply affected both myself and my partner, who witnessed the ordeal. Based on the negligence and lack of accountability I experienced, I strongly advise others to avoid this place, especially for any tooth extraction procedures. I expect that the estimate that I am given, is an estimate for the work that is about to be performed. I was slapped with a bill of $1,068 and 3 ladies at the front were gaslighting me. The oral surgeon told me that he'd conduct surgery in a week, but I got a slot sooner. When I arrived, not only did the oral surgeon attempt the same procedure and fail because of the pain caused on that region, he tried to charge me twice as much as these guys. Meanwhile with the yanking, crushing, and poking, I now have triple the pain in the region then I did before. Never take recommendations from these people, they don't have a clue, and they won't help you. They will attempt to cast you on their friends in this 'dental cartel' to extract your wealth and leave you miserable. I remain in grave pain.

So, I was so happy the first time I went to see Dr. Chan because of a cavity but he was so gentle with the freezing injection, that I didn't even feel it. That was a first for me. Since then, he always has the best way of relating to his patients with respect, kindness, understanding and positivity. He knows I have a difficult time with dental work and through every procedure, he lets me know what he is going to do. Sort of like a play-by-play through the whole procedure.
