FACTORY "rehab," money-hungry! Some of the PTs are good, but it's obvious the admin is only interested in how much they can bill you for. If you're at all observant, you can tell how horrible the employees are treated and how overworked they are. Doesn't seem like the higher-ups care about them. I get the feeling that there is a high turn-over rate! So ... Money, money, money HUNGRY, poor treatment of employees, extremely fast-paced and way too many patients there at once ... yea, NOT a place I would recommend. This place has potential to be great. SOME (not all) but some of the employees seem to really care about the patients, but the admin seems to override their concern and desire to help, and instead seems to order that they bill them for whatever they can, and send them on their way. This place is so chaotic that it's difficult to really absorb your treatment and gain any benefit (which is NOT the employees fault, but rather the admins fault for allowing such a massive and ridiculous flow of patients!). A word of advice, STOP focusing on what you can squeeze out of my insurance company and start caring more about my treatment and well-being! And for goodness sake, be nicer to your workers! They're PEOPLE, not disposable objects! read more

I started going to IMC in New City over two years ago and my life and well-being have been transformed ever since. For many years, I had to endure chronic back pain and most doctors suggested I take Ibuprofen or Naproxen as needed. At times, I would take as many as 4 Advils twice a day to make it through the day without the aches and pain from a previous back injury. Fortunately, once I began my treatments at IMC, which included Medical Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Chiropractic treatments, my need to take over-the-counter pain meds drastically reduced. The comprehensive treatments and exercise regiments provided by caring and knowledgeable professionals at IMC have given me a new outlook on health and wellness. The medical staff and highly trained professionals adhere to a holistic yet comprehensive way of treating each patient. They are warm and welcoming and the entire experience they offer goes beyond what anyone would expect from a medical facility. Thank Heavens for IMC!! I have been to other PT places in Rockland and this place is the best. I came here for my work related injury and my husband came for back pain from shoveling snow. We were both helped at their office and are 100%. The staff is so friendly and nice, we loved coming for therapy. Everyone is so different here than at other offices. They care about you, they have a nice office and state of the art equipment. My husband loved the biofeedback. They are very honest and open and accommodating to our schedule. We recommend this place to anyone in Rockland looking for a great place for Therapy, Acupuncture and my husband got OMT by a DO here too. Still getting the best care from this team of Doctors and therapists'. Since last review have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (acid reflux in the throat) and the team has been on target with treatment and care. Dr. Umberger (DO) and Jean (Acupuncturist) have kept me from suffering from my conditions.. All of the staff remains professional and interested in my treatment.
