This was THE WORST experience I've ever had with a supposed Medical Professional. I filled out my…read morepaperwork and told the Receptionist that I was refused to see Dr. Jain in her other Practice (Highland Psychiatric Associates in Sparta, NJ) because I'd seen her associate, Dr. Kloupar (another bad one.) BUT the Receptionist specifically told me that the 2 offices weren't in ANY way associated and that these were completely different practices. Then the Receptionist slipped away to where the Doctor was and Dr. Jain came in and told me that she does NOT prescribe Benzos (medications like Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Valium) and that I'm in the wrong place and should go. I could see she was really upset. I then told her that I'm willing to try a different route and want to get off the Xanax I'm currently taking. She then got very irate and said NO! That I should've told the Receptionist I took this medication before making an appointment (like that's MY JOB and like I knew she didn't prescribe these meds.) She then told me to leave in a VERY rude, extremely unprofessional and downright man way. I was so shocked I just said ok and left. I'm so angry and upset! This is WRONG! All this has done is made my already EXTREME Anxiety problems escalate and again shaken my faith in the Psychiatric Profession (at least here in NJ.) How cruel! And I promise I'm NOT exaggerating! I think she was angry that she wasn't going to get my $225 since her office DOES NOT take ANY insurance. Anyway I DO NOT AT ALL recommend anyone seeing this highly unprofessional and uncaring person. Unbelievable! And so sad...

She is very caring but also challenges your ways of thinking. Since she is trauma certified and also EMDR certified, she is able to really help you heal from past traumas. She is accepting of what works and what doesn't work and will support you in a way that works for you. She is also flexible in scheduling and this was a big help when I was a new mom. I cannot recommend Amy enough and personally believe she is a miracle worker if you are willing to do the work.

My OCD symptoms have lessened significantly and I am very glad I chose to do the treatments. Dr Krishnappa and his staff could not be more caring and make the sessions very tolerable. As a therapist, Israel was patient and had flexible availability for my boyfriend and my schedules. The fact that he had experience with poly couples was very important for us and he was a great fit as a couple's therapist for us. The only downfall is that he doesn't accept insurance, but for both my and my partner's insurance we had a deductible to meet so it wound up being the same anyway.
