As a woman, our hair is so much part of us, our self esteem, femininity, and how we express ourselves. At this point in my life, I've been ashamed and embarrassed with how I look. It's gotten to the point I would avoid the mirrors, or when I did look at one, I'd hate what I seen. Over the years, I've tried Rogaine, Minoxidil, Nioxen , oils, massage, crown pieces, hair extensions and now wigs. They were all lacking in results, and this made me feel defeated and hopeless. The wigs would be so hot and itchy, and would not cover my whole scalp, lifting in the backs and the sides. I was always so self conscious, that it didn't fit correctly, or the hair would get ratty, even with good care. After a few weeks, they would start to feel like straw, and I couldn't even put my hair up in a ponytail or a updo. They were just so uncomfortable. I ended spending a lot of money for poor quality products, including human hair and synthetic wigs. Pacific Hair Solutions was able to help me choose a wig that would suit my complexion and appearances. The wig is incredibly soft, and 100% Remy European human Hair. (Top of the line!) It was custom fitted and is snug, does not slide around or slip and does not show my natural hair. It fits perfectly and makes me feel so much better about how I look. The quality is amazing, unlike the cheap bad quality wigs I've tried before. The ladies at PHLS are amazing, and they are at the top of the game when it comes to making you feel comfortable, and the Covid safety protocols. As soon as I walked in, my temperature was taken, and I was asked to wash my hands. Each room was private, and very clean.

I was canceling my appointment for today at 3:00pm (July 15th) that was made for me yesterday, and the appointment for tomorrow (July 16th) at 2:00pm, also made for me yesterday in the office. I have severe pain and bruising from the "cool sculpting" procedure and almost at once knew something was wrong when my left side above my hip was in severe pain during the 1st treatment. I was supposed to stay for another 2 rounds, but chose to leave because I couldn't imagine going through that for another hour and a half. When I returned to my hotel within 30mins, I cancelled all remaining visits for more treatments that were forced on me. Approximately 2 hours later, the left side where the "cool sculpting" device was attached started to bruise, severely. When I woke up during the night because of the pain on my left side, I went to look at the size of the bruise and it was the size of my hand. The right side where the same treatment was applied showed minimal bruising or pain. It's hard to imagine I was charged $1600 for simply 2 of these sessions (8 were recommended) within a 3 day period, for the same area, for a total of $4800 MORE. Also, I have a qualm with being told last April that if I took advantage of their "special on cool sculpting" and paid $800 I would save on my treatments, without them even telling me how many treatments I might need... When I checked out yesterday, I was charged $795 for each treatment, 2, and refunded $800. What's special about that? The up selling at this office is untolerable and I won't be back. Pamela Roney

My initial inquiry was sent forty-four days ago. I filled out the contact form on their website and chose their Victoria office. Ten days passed and I did not hear back from them, so I sent another inquiry. Another week would pass before I sent a third inquiry - this time to their Vancouver office. They finally responded....by leaving multiple messages left on my phone, - a mandatory field on their contact form that needed to be completed before submitting an inquiry. However, I specifically requested no phone calls on my inquiry. Finally, they contacted me through email. I thanked them for finally adhering to my contact preferences. I told them I was hearing-impaired and cannot use the phone. That is why I prefer communicating via email. A few days later, a duBrule representative emailed me and assured me "No problem. Even though our Victoria offices only offers fitting and grooming services, we will set up your consultation appointment for there!". I thanked her for duBrule's willingness to accommodate my disability needs. And I responded to her questions as to what I was seeking so they had a better idea in advance of the anticipated consultation. I sent the email. And I waited. And waited. Finally, three weeks later I heard back from the rep. She profusely apologized for her tardiness in response because "I am a technician and we don't normally check this email account". She threw out some dates to book a consultation and so I responded to her email. And I waited. And today I am still waiting. Today is day 44 and I still don't have a consultation appointment. Since then, I have had consultation appointments and responses from four other hair restoration places who placed my disability needs in front of their needs for a quick hard sale by telephone. All said, I haven't made a decision yet because I'm in no rush. I haven't ruled out duBrule's yet because , if for no other reason, I am both fascinated and a little more than a bit morbidly curious as to how this will play out....assuming, of course, they respond to my last email before I have perished in my latter years. Besides, I'm always looking for a silver lining. As I am quite well known in a number of hair restoration forums, I might have a doozy of a story to report back to the gang. They would love it. :) In any event, I'm hardly impressed with the good folk at duBrule. If they can't respond to their email contact forms because they have anybody accessing them on a regular basis, then why have a contact form at all? And if someone does have to access emails that isn't normally part of their job, why can't the person jot down a simple reminder on a sticky note or whatever to see if so-and-so has taken the time to respond to the email they sent out a week or so ago? This would show the customer they truly do care about them. And so I continue to wait - seven weeks later for a consultation appointment. I probably won't go with duBrule. I'm utterly amazed at their incompetencies. The four other hair restoration businesses I have connected with have all responded in due course and have long since provided me with consultations, answered my questions, and provided me with estimates to make an informed decision...all by email. Email seems like such a radical communications approach with duBrule. The bottom line: If a company can't meet your personal physical needs by using one of the most widely accepted alternatives to the telephone in this 21st century, why would anyone want to entrust them with their personal grooming needs? In the meantime, I continue to wait.
