My partner and I went in to tour the facility today and we knew we would not be enrolling our child within 30 seconds of speaking to the front desk. This is our first child and we wanted to tour schools before our baby arrives. We arrived at our scheduled appointment to the dimly lit reception area. There were 3 people at the front desk and no one looked up for a while. Finally, a nice young woman acknowledged us. I explained why we were there (she had no idea we were coming). She shared that the infant area is under construction. I said I'd still like to see it. We were taking past a dark room with 6-7 wooden cribs pushed up against each other in a small space. The caretaker looked up from her phone and went back to being back on her phone. After sharing with us again that the other part of the building it under construction (maybe she sensed we were concerned), she walked us past the toddler room. Tons of kids in a small space. It honestly reminded me of my dogs daycare. We were in and out in 5 minutes - no exaggeration. No structure to the tour and just overall a depressing space. When my fiance and I stepped out of the building the first thing he said to me in a joking way was "let's run." This was the first experience I've had of touring an infant daycare facility as a new mom. It shook me. I'm touring Primrose next week because I heard great things. read more

My grandchild attended this school for years and I recently found out that she was being bullied. The staff knew about it for weeks and did absolutely nothing. So beware and don't send your precious child here. If something happens to your child, expect a coverup and lies before you get to the truth. read more

I was very impressed by the director of this center CC and then a change came. I don't know the lady name because all she recited was that she was the VP. Never seen her before but she was Very rude, short fused and disrespectful for no reason. We pay over a thousand dollars a month and was wondering why our bill was 93 dollars. It's crazy because we didn't know how the conversation moved to this could be your daughters last day. Total abuse of power. She basically flipped as if we was complaining about paying it. Our son is almost three and we have attended Waxahachie Imagine Nation for several months now since we moved to the area. We have been nothing but pleased. Our son has had the usual run ins with other kids of this age group such as fighting over toys and getting scratched,that sort of thing, and the administrator has always notified us right away. We call them the "fun place" at our house. My child used to cry at drop off at our other daycare but he goes in willingly almost every day at Imagine Nation! I think Perla and Destiny do a wonderful job with communication and have managed "Covid 19" life in daycare very well. My biggest complaint seems to be the same complaint that most people have. This daycare does not have good sanitation standards. The kids are constantly sick with viral stomach bugs and the flu among some things. I understand that kids get sick but at this daycare the sickness is constant. Imagine Learning Daycare is in need of a major transformation! My granddaughter has been bit six times in less than 45 days and I was never notified until arrival. Two of the biting incidents broke the skin causing trips to the doctor each time. When I asked the Director for more detailed information regarding the biting she stated she couldn't give me anymore information or let me know if it's the same child that's biting her. I'm livid! My granddaughter is not being protected at this daycare and it's obvious the children are not properly being monitored. The Director stated "this is what kids do at this age." I know kids will be kids, but from four months to 15 months my granddaughter was never bitten at the previous daycare. Also, the sickness continues to run rapid in the two year old class. My granddaughter continues to stay sick with either a cold, viral infection, hands feet and mouth disease, and impetigo. My granddaughter was out for almost two weeks with impetigo. She was diagnosed by an ER physician. Upon our return, a child had the same rash on his face similar to impetigo. When I asked why he was at school, I was told he was cleared to return. So, I decided to leave my granddaughter out a few more days. Yes, I was paying (I'm not on any type of assistance) and, she was out due to a pandemic that started at the school. Additionally, the kids nose is always running and the workers were just letting the children walk around with a nasty nose passing more germs to each other and objects. My grand-baby was so sick which required multiple trips to the doctor that even the pediatrician was concerned about the level of care (because at the last daycare, we didn't have all the problems we are now facing). Lastly, I'm not impressed with the learning curriculum. My granddaughter has not learned much since attending the daycare. The first two -teachers were lazy and didn't do much at all. I'm curious to know what is being taught. Plus, the daily report is a recap of the day events, but the workers didn't complete or even distributed it at pickup. I had to ask each day. The information on the daily report was not accurate, because my granddaughter does not eat certain foods and it was always written that she ate ALL her food. She was always starving when we picked her up. Also, the daily report indicated her diaper was changed with the times, but they hardly changed her diaper. I counted the number of pampers (labeled with her name) taken each week, estimating the usage. Unfortunately, she didn't run out of diapers in a week, but should have if her diaper was changed regularly. It's my opinion, that the lack of changing her pamper led to multiple diaper rashes. A couple of weeks ago, her diaper rash was so bad the teacher stated that she thought my grand-baby had impetigo in her private area. Now, how would that be possible? Are they sharing diaper products? I immediately took her to doctor and the doctor stated that the rash was due to lack of changing her diaper. Imagine Nation daycare has been challenging to say the least. Yes, my grand-daughter will change schools in the next 30-days. Unfortunately, there's only one daycare in Red Oak, which is full. We are forced to travel to Waxahachie which also have limited daycares. Imagine Nation is by far one of the most substandard daycares I've encountered. I filed a complaint with the state and hired an attorney for possible legal action. read more

02/23/2023 This is my biggest mistake just because I didn't not read the reviews before I decided to send my 10 months old baby there . Deep down I'm always trusting people first . Taking care of babies need a very amazing heart to do that ! But sometimes we just can't see it until it's happened . My daughter got really bad situation after the second days there . She got high fever for 3 days , and she showed super starving when she got home and tired , she lost weight badly... that's not ok for a little infant with heart situation, I had noticed the center. I check the report and saw that she only have a little bit of cracker and little banana for snack (she didn't want lunch )... which I know she don't like eat them and with 2 teeth it's hard to process the food , and her bottles that day is still lot of milk left over ... so she barely got food in her stomach that day Maybe just our bad luck there . I'm too scared to bring her back , she can't take that chance again , so I really thinking in days when stay hơme and took care of her to be strong again .. Than I decided to call in and cancel her on Early Monday morning ... they heard the situation and immediately agreed let her withdraw. And still process the payment for that week ... so we pay $340 for 2 days and a sick baby and I'm out of work to take care of her :( .... ! That's very expensive experience child care ever !!! What is on the world of a day care like that. At least you showed babies Love and true care please , because they can't self take care yet , and money is not a big deal . Imagine Nation Daycare has within the last couple of months quit taking card payments. You have to pay cash which is very inconvenient or write a check which takes forever for them to cash and then see it hit your account. What business doesn't take cards? Zelle??? Something??? I bank with Chase and there is no Chase in Waxahachie. So I'm stuck trying to get money from other banks' ATM. The childcare payment is not in even amounts. So, to pay $187??? You could give them $200 in cash.... right? Then they give you change??? NO. They quickly slip the $200 in some machine and then let you know you don't get your change. So, today, I will go to some ATM that will charge me a fee.... Then I'll stop at a 7-11 and get them to break one of the twenties making sure to give me some ones. Geez..... Then I'll pick up my grandson... and pay them in greenbacks. They have said they have no idea when the situation will change and to just accept that this is how we have to pay.... In addition, as a certified teacher, I would like to evaluate the PreK program. Through experience, my grandson went through the PreK program. Learned little to nothing.... Lots of color sheets with no guidance. The "teacher" is a daycare worker... not certified. Along with that, there were approximately 35 PreK children in the program. Most of the afternoon is spent in naptime or watching TV while teachers mop with Clorox. PreK is in my professional opinion an important precursor to beginning school and this program lacks professional guidance. Thank goodness his Kindergarten teacher in WISD is fantastic. As far as daycare goes, it is good. That's why we send our "babies" there. The facility is clean and colorful. The playgrounds are excellent. The caregivers have always been nice and caring. They pick up our little kindergartner in a cute bus after school and transport them to Imagine Nation. With all of the good parts of this company.... I recommend they go the necessary step and upgrade the PreK program to higher standards of learning, and for goodness sake.... Start taking card payments. read more

Stay away! There are a couple of ladies there that we really liked but the rest of them are a revolving door. We decided to pull our son when they were strapping him into a chair so they could clean toward the end of the day but the final straw was when I walked in to see one of the young girls snatching another boy by the arm and dragging him away all while yelling at him. 9 hours ago So my kid caught RSV here and ended up in the ER with complications and was out for a week. That's ok. It happens. I called asking for an exception to paying that week's tuition due to the extended circumstance. The first lady I spoke to informed me it was out of her hands. I asked for someone who's hands it is in. Ashley answered the phone and was immediately aggressive and coughed an attitude, told me I had an attitude and RSV isn't contagious. I corrected her and informed her it is. She told me that if I'm going to ask for a favor I should drop my attitude and ask nicely. I was pretty calm (maybe upset because I didn't feel my request was out of the ordinary) but I lost my composure with her. She told me that she was automatically withdrawing my kid and good luck. DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. They don't even understand that RSV is contagious or care to listen to reason. I would question how they treat children with the way this ignorant woman spoke at and over me. read more

I have always supported Imagine Nation Learning Center and defended them. But no more, they have screwed me over. My daughter went there from birth to 4.5 yrs., then I moved her to FCDS for Pre-K 5 because she was older and I didn't want her to do PreK at INLC twice in the same class. When I went to try to put her back in at the end of the school year they didn't have room for her. Ok No biggie, I understand, BUT I discussed with them MULTIPLE times about having a spot for her when school started and having transportation for her to and from school. I was told 3 TIMES YES SHE has a spot. NEVER once was I told she was on a waiting list. I had turned in her paperwork, and I was told we have her start date as Aug 21, no problems. Today I get a call that they do not have a spot for her and she is 6th on the waiting list. I was NEVER told she was on a waiting list let alone 6th. Do you really think I would have enrolled her there knowing she was 6th on the waiting list. NO I WOULD HAVE FOUND SOMEPLACE else for her. I would not have waited 4 weeks till school starts to try to figure out what to do with her. BEWARE of IMAGINATION LEARNING CENTER they have gone DOWNHILL and HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING THERE. Now I have to scramble and figure out where I am going to put my daughter for before and after school care. read more

We brought our daughter here after moving to Waxahachie from Arlington. She attended the Imagine Nation in Arlington for about a year and a half. And we were excited to discover the have a location in Waxahachie, so we could just transfer her there and not have to bother with finding a new daycare. We've been taking her there for a little over 3 months now, and things have started to go downhill. In one week, I got a report from the teacher that 3 out of the 5 days, my child was being bad and misbehaving. Now, I'm not going to be one of those parents who thinks "Oh my child is a perfect little innocent angel and would never do that" but still, 3 out of 5 days in a row I'm getting a report. It can't just be my child's fault. And some of what they say is a little fishy. And the way they word it and change their story about what happened, I don't even know that I entirely believe them. It's almost like I'm being talked down to as a parent and I'm being victimized. The teachers should speak to me as an adult and not just be like "Well your kid is bad and you should do something about that". How about, No, you work at a daycare. You should know how to handle children. And even if a kid is misbehaving, you don't just go tattle-tell to the parent. You should know how to do your job. And in speaking with my child about why she's misbehaving at daycare and maybe how come she's getting in trouble, some information has come to light. She has told me that when a kid interrupts or isn't listening in class, the teacher throws markers or highlighters at the child. And whenever they are speaking when they're not supposed to, the teacher grabs their face and squeezes their cheeks and tells them to stop talking. At no point should the teachers be laying a hand on the children. These are all red flags. And I'm concerned about whether to keep taking my child there. read more
