We did not call it by name, we called it Castle park, by the library, near the school. Oh, thank goodness, for the love of God!, that library turned out to be one of the best parts. The children loved the children's book section, no kidding? right, lol. Yes, highly recommended of chaperone experience for the little ones, hey, enjoying the park for them, eh, okay it is enjoyable for adults, okay, fine! You got me, lol. The interaction of genuine heart of children sometimes results in adults caring to share the basic human need of thankful communication. One "face to face" treasure of social experience. Justly peaceful, and it is patrolled not only by parents, there are venues of the township, like the library, and the police are not long, had that been necessary. Never had I've seen the police needed to be notified to go there. Thank you Egg Harbor Twp, I used to live there. Good today of days. Of course, Creator given rights & dignity only God provides, ie, the three charters of freedom, The Declaration of Independence, The Preamble and The Ten Bill of Right, in the years of our Lord, 1776-1991. Just Peace from God.

I get to visit this very fine town more than a few times a year since my brother and his family moved here in mid 2000s. And this park is definitely a highlight for his kids to be out and about and do things that is so quintessential summer! Here are some of the key highlights: - Big kid's playground, fully mulched, with all the swings and the castle of slides. The grounds clearly are well taken care of and everything looks so pretty - There are big soccer fields right behind the kids' playground. I almost mistook it for a mini golf course; the field was so green and well maintained and I believe there are more than 3 of them; and one is even lighted for night matches. - There is an amphitheater bang in the middle of the 35 acres expanse where they have bands come in and play during the summer and there are scheduled movie screenings as well. - 4 Tennis courts. So neat and clean. i was really impressed to see the quality of the nets and the hard court coats. Finally, the access roads - in and out of the park, connecting the main streets are so well maintained, with enough parking for families to come in and enjoy great times. Keep up the good work!! - Amazingly well kept baseball / softball field.

The play area for older children has a very high slide and smaller slides for younger kids. There are swings for older children and bucket swings for the littles. The whole area has rubber tire below, so falls are not near as bad. There is a small rock climbing wall, ropes, and a good variety of things to do. The only time you want to avoid the park is on really hot days midday. The playground isn't at all shaded, so it can get very hot. There is also a pavilion area right next to the playground that is nice for having lunch. There are bathrooms there as well. In the summer, the ice cream truck is almost always there, so either bring cash or prep your kids that you won't be getting ice cream. haha! There are also fields all around the playground where you can walk the path, pull kids in a wagon, or ride on a bike as my kids like to do.

The playground is suitable for all ages with toddler swings/harnesses on one side of the playground and teen/adult swings on the other side. There are 2 different setups right next to each other. One is for older children and the other is for the younger children. The younger setup is arranged like a ship. There are 2 slides attached and some activities. The 2nd setup has multiple slides with multiple levels. The only way to get up to level 3 is by ladder, but the 2 slides on that level are pretty fun. I would say the playground is more for ages 3+, but fun can still be had by all. There are fields all around for football, soccer, or any other sport you can think of. Parking for the playground is limited with about 15 spots, but you can park on the grass all around the playground.

This park is filled with wonderful treasures! They have held so much within this park, I don't know…read morewhere to begin but I will say, there is something for everyone! They have a great field for baseball. Please note, Freehold Little League is held here so if there is a game, parking will be hard. They also have many playgrounds for kids. They seem to have themed playgrounds so that if you are meeting other parents, just say, "we'll convene at the blue or pirate ship playground" and everyone will find it. They have a fenced in skateboard ramps for tweens and up which I personally think is a fabulous idea. The ramps are spaced and curved only for skateboards. Longboards should definitely stay only on the paved paths where they belong. Speaking of trails, their trails are mixed between paved and dirt. You can safely go on a light walking trail here either solo or as you are walking your dogs. They also provide a few stations with plastic bags for the owners to clean up after their dogs. They also have basketball courts, dog runs, picnic areas, a spray ground on hot summer's days and my favorite, a sports field with obstacle courses. Perfect for the bigger kids with lots of energy and to build coordination. I went in March where things are just somewhat starting to bloom. I can only imagine the splendor in late June where everything will be fully bloomed and the grass will be lush. I look forward to revisiting this park, especially when it's Freehold Township Day where there will be plenty of fireworks, rides and the Vets car show!
