Besi is a café located on Rua do Carmo in downtown Rio. They…read moreserve empadas (chicken or shrimp), ready made salads (salmon, chicken, cheese...), quiches, and cookies, muffins, brownies and coffee. They used to have household kitchen supplies, but today I went in, and its just food! Which was a good thing, so there is more seating for customers. The empadas are R$18 and cookies are R$8. The cookies are large in size (not sure if R$8 is really worth it) but sometimes you just need a sugar fix :)
