Fastsigns - FASTSIGNS Rochester, MN Showroom

Fastsigns

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I have never been more shocked, or utterly disappointed in…read morethe absolutely worst customer service I have ever received. I had FastSigns install my vinyl at my business originally, and last November contacted them for an estimate on removal, as I planned to move to a new space April 1 2019. I received the estimate, and when I called them at the end of February to set up the removal for March, Rachel - the woman I spoke with - told me I was not a client, and that she had no record of the estimate that I had received in November, and that if they had provided an estimate she would know because she would have done it. I went back through my emails to make sure that I hadn't called a different company by accident and found the estimate, forwarded the estimate, and called Fastsigns back again to confirm that they had in fact done the estimate, that I was a client, and that they would provide the removal. I left several messages before receiving confirmation that they would provide the service, and confirmed that it needed to be done by the end of March. I was gone on a family trip last week, and came into my space on Tuesday 3/26 to discover that the vinyl had not yet been removed. When I called to ask when it would be done, they assured me someone would be out this week, and that it would be done by today. I was given no specifics or information as to what would be needed for them to remove the vinyl. I wasn't given a day or a time. I wasn't asked to be available to meet with the technician when they came, and I wasn't asked for my phone number so that the technician could call me if there were any questions or problems. I wasn't told that they would need access to our electricity to use their heat guns to remove the vinyl. I assumed everything was handled. I didn't hear anything from them, and then while in the middle of teaching a yoga class to my clients yesterday, one of their technicians walked into the space, interrupted me while I was teaching, and told me he needed access to the electricity. I asked him to wait until the end of class - and he disappeared and never came back. I called today because the vinyl was still not removed, and confirmed with the person who answered the phone that I would be here, and would wait for the technician to arrive to give him access to the space. While in my space, packing boxes, I received an email at 1:25 saying that they would not be able to remove the vinyl because they had tried 3 times and I was not available. WHAATTT?!!? I was literally HERE in my space, waiting for them!! When I called to try to figure out what was going on, I had to play phone tag for almost an hour to get a hold of anyone, and was then told it was "too late" to send someone out today. I had created an "inconvenience" for them, and I was blamed for their lack of communication, preparation, clarity, and promptness. There was no apology, no empathy, no attempt to make things right. The woman told me that the soonest they could send someone out was Monday - which would mean I would be in violation of my current lease with my landlords. I will admit that I became so upset I was swearing and yelling because I was so angry and upset. I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service. The good news is that I was able to find another company in town who was willing to come out and do it TODAY. When I went outside to take pictures of the vinyl, so that they could estimate how long it would take for them to do it, I discovered an empty can of some type of power drink, a razor blade, and a small piece of the vinyl from my window laying on the sidewalk in front of my space. This is as good an image as any to signify the quality of FastSigns service = GARBAGE.
