Even my reservation for the appointment had gone through, they were running an hour behind- so if you have an appointment, you should call ahead and see if they are running on schedule, especially if you are having pictures taken of your small child. The first photographer/receptionist/etc.. person was not overly friendly - and if there had not been another person working with her this review would have been completely different. The first girl was very put out that she could not find my reservation, and basically was about to tell me that I should be on my way with my baby and that I could make a reservation for the following day. My baby was only 8 months old, I had been waiting a half hour before she even said anything to me, and I live over 40 minutes away, so rescheduling would not have been an easy or welcomed situation. Thankfully, the other photographer was compassionate and put us on the schedule. I had to wait about another 30 minutes before they were able to take the pictures because there were so many people getting their pictures done. The entire time we were waiting, the baby was laughing and smiling and playing. (I am not sure if they are this busy all of the time. I know that I had a groupon for the photos and it was expiring that day, so it is possible that there were a bunch of last minute photo goers... otherwise, it is really important to make an appointment -) During the photo shoot- my baby absolutely refused to smile. The photographer tried everything. I tried everything. Nothing worked at all. The fact that the room was dark with bright hot lights, and a whole slew of props behind the camera, this was all just too overwhelming for the baby, and he was too interested in everything that was going on, that he just was very inquisitive, and not happy and laughing. We did get some very cute photos of him, but I know that they could have been better. Another concern that I had was I heard the click of the camera many more times than the amount of pictures that I saw. I thought that she took many more pictures than she showed me at the end. I am not sure what the policy is about how many pictures that they take v how many they show you, but after the session I was sure that there would be tons of pics to look through, and that was not the case. Final note: I definitely think that the pictures were worth it. My family members loved them and didn't seem to care too much that he isn't smiling in them. The cost of the photos is very reasonable. I would come again.

My only regret is not booking her for a bit longer--because even with limited time, she delivered the most beautiful photos, and the video she created was so special. We were married at the W South Beach in a penthouse room. The room itself wasn't anything particularly impressive, nor was the balcony, but Shay worked magic. She captured us in the reflection of the Miami skyline, and those images were *stunning*--truly some of our favorite photos ever. I compared several wedding photographers, and her pricing is incredibly fair, especially for the quality and artistry she brings. If you hire her, you will be so happy you did. You're going to love your photos! Her photography team was on time, professional, and full of creative ideas for capturing amazing shots.

The Floral Escape is inside of Aventura Mall right next to Restoration Hardware. My first impression was thinking 'what a colorful plane it was!' The concept is unlike anything I've ever seen before, there are different partitions and each one has a specific theme and color scheme. We stopped at each spot and took many pictures on each. They rent tripods with lighting as well as a tripod to hold the phone. I find this a great date outing as well as a group of friends who enjoy taking super cute pictures. I hired her at the very last minute for branding photography and she not only confirmed the booking right away, she even scouted a dream location for the photoshoot as well. (Thank you Nakita!!!) She is extremely friendly and kind, and is very prompt with communication which is a must for a photographer. Brides, I see she does wedding photography too, and I would highly recommend her for all your photography needs! The best part about her is her photography style: she is into very natural lighting and minimal editing that compliments the natural you. That is so important! The worst thing is getting back your photos and you don't even recognize yourself...that will never happen with Nakita! We had about 20 friends and family over and wanted a mix of candid shots, family portraits, and photos of the ceremony itself. Ryan captured everything beautifully -- the big moments, the small emotional details, and the natural energy of the day. Tess and Ryan were also incredibly communicative from our early conversations through the final edits and delivery. They made the whole process easy, professional, and stress-free. We booked them for a small event plus a short portrait session, and they handled both perfectly. On the day of the shoot they arrived early, walked the location with us and suggested poses and spots that I would never have thought of. Moreover the weather that day was very windy and rainy and it wouldn't have worked anyway. We contacted the guy and explained the situation and he said no refunds under any circumstances. He said the only thing we can do is reschedule. How can we reschedule when we don't live in Florida? He never even stated any terms and conditions, we never signed any contract. This is shady business practice and even airlines are not as stubborn and you can work it out with them, but not this guy. He basically stole $175 because he wants to make his money no matter what. This is the difference between a good business and a terrible one. I would avoid him at all cost as you have no rights.
