Couldn't find the negative -5 Stars option so I have to settle for a 1 star review. Worst haircut of my life!!! 3 years of growing out my hair lost in 10mins. Told them exactly what I wanted and even showed 4 pictures of what I wanted done and still destroyed my head. And dude was trying to blame the picture. Pointing out "he has a beard in the picture"? What the hell dose that have to do with a simple taper? Don't do it. You will feel pissed you went like me. And I guarantee the people giving them 5 starts are friends and family trying to help them out. Answer to Reply: lol, NO THANKS. Not making that mistake twice. " Misunderstood us"? "Brought to our attention"? What the hell are you talking about? Why even reply? To save face? Because it's not like y'all could fix it anyway, damage is done. My son is not the easiest kid to give a haircut... therefore, we are always hesitant to get him to a barbershop for that reason. Today, we decided to give it a shot because our son was desperately due for a cut. Adam greeted us and was able to calm our child and even showed and explained what each hair tools were used for to our three year old. 15 minutes later, my son was done. He was happy, we were happy, and so was Adam. I highly recommend Adam. He's great with kids and is extremely friendly and efficient. Ok... Let me start off by saying that I'm an unbiased straight shooter and my reviews prove it. When it comes to my hair, I'm very anal. Since I moved back a year ago since evacuating for Katrina, I've had a hell of a time finding someone who can actually cut mens hair like a Pro. The biggest problem when it comes to mens hair stylist/barber is that 99% of them are limited in skills. What I mean by that is that some barbers are great with clippers and blade but can't style with shears. Some women are great with shears but can't edge with a blade.., and so forth. To make matters worst... Most hair stylist and barbers are cocky and see themselves on top of their game. They think they're the best and can't take constructive criticism or aren't happy when you ask for a style that requires skills outside their expertise. This guy Imad can shear, fade(clippers), edge(blade) and even thread(eyebrows). I'm not saying he's the BEST... But he's the best I've found in Kenner/Metairie/New Orleans area. I've been back in New Orleans for a year now and without exaggerating I've been to atleast 12 different barbers and stylist; spanish, black, arab, women, gay, etc...all limited in skill. Especially those franchise places like Sports Clips are the worst because they're not allowed to use blades. Imad is a well rounded barber and besides impressing me ... I've never walked out feeling like my hair could be better. Aside from that. This is an actual barbershop. Not a salon. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars... I've been bouncing around for a good barber shop now for about 2 years and am so, so glad I found this place. Prices are great, atmosphere is great, haircuts are great. Love the straight razor shave on the back of the neck, sideburns, and behind the ears. I go to Mo but it's obvious everyone who works there is really talented. I just walked in this place after calling and asking if they could do a minor side shave. First of all when the person answers the phone and keeps calling you "babie" you know you're dealing with a foreigner place. Fine. I support everyone's business. I'm literally asking for a quarter side, but even a whole half side, shave= $20. No. This is like a 2 minute non fancy shave. I've paid $10 at other places. $20 is greedy. But my regular dude is out and I'm desperate. I walk in and the one barber dude looks around the room as if a ghost walked in. Have you never seen a woman before weirdo?? Then he says oh no don't do women. What kind of discriminating bullshit is that??? You come to America to open a business and not be judged, but bring your outlandish cultural beliefs here and discriminate against women as if you can't shave my head bc I have a disease? Bc that's exactly what I felt like walking out of there in shock with not even a "SORRY" from the same dude. Fucking eh dude. Just no. Making sure to tell all my Kenner friends about that. read more

This review was hard for me to do. As bad as I wanted to keep this place off the radar, I couldn't help but share how great this place is. Alaa is an amazing barber....like really good. I've been in the military for over 8 years and have had hair cuts from all over. This place has absolutely surpassed my expectations. Their hours are from 10 am to 10 pm and they are flexible with both appointments and walk ins. They take there time with their customers and do not rush your haircut. For any man who wants a solid haircut, stop looking, you found your new place to go. read more

They only know how to cut a short short hair, if you want a medium long hair style, you are not on the right place. Don't bring a picture of the hair style you like and expect they will know how to cut that, they will not! Like not at all! read more

These guys are top notch! Came in at about 11 o'clock and Moe was able to take me right away. Fade, beard, trim, everything was perfect! Prices were very reasonable. Friendly barbers. Quality haircuts for a very reasonable price. The fact that they stay open usu 7days/week and until 9:00pm has made this the place I can always rely on after I get off of work. I have to say I usually go to a salon because I don't get fades. But i needed a haircut on Sunday and Imads was open so i gave it a try. Great Service and great people. I got my hair cut and beard shaved by Mike and he did a great job. Highly recommend. No more expensive salon cuts for me. read more
