A little about me: I've always been outgoing enough with a decent level of confidence but life has been LIFING over the past 1-2 years, taking a toll on my stress and anxiety levels and impacting the confidence I once had. I work multiple jobs and I began building a routine that involved taking naps or melting into my couch with any free time I had because honestly.. I was just burnt out on everything and believed laying horizontally was what I needed to feel better. I noticed this habit/ routine was actually increasing my levels of stress & anxiety & making me feel worse about myself in the end. I have been at ILoveKickboxing for almost 6 weeks now which might not seem like much to someone else, but this is the longest I've ever stayed consistent with any gym. I've always lacked motivation for the gym in the past and when I've tried to prioritize exercise it would only last maybe 2 weeks, but here it's been different. I still have just as much motivation at ILoveKickboxing at week 6 as I did on day 1. The workouts definitely push me, but in the best ways possible. I never understood when others said they felt a "good sore" after working out (really it made no sense to me what so ever) but I can finally relate. I genuinely enjoy coming to each class, setting an intention before every workout, releasing energy and day to day stressors & being surrounded by women looking to better themselves while empowering and building up others. (Oh yea, it's a women's only gym which is probably one of my favorite things about it) In the past 6 weeks I have gained muscle ( I can genuinely feel myself getting stronger each class), noticed an increase in my energy levels throughout the day, alleviated daily anxieties and stress, and have found myself picking up hobbies outside of the gym that I genuinely enjoy instead of just laying on the couch or taking a nap with small moments of spare time. I know I still have a lot of work to do individually, but ILKB has helped me so much with getting started on this new journey. read more

They don't actually care about their clients and are just after one thing. Management is unprofessional and not trustworthy. They use corporate as an excuse to get away with unfulfilling promises and issues they don't want to deal with. They refused to refund money they had promised to refund. When I continued to push for the money that was owed to me they terminated my membership and stopped responding to my issue. However this is only one of my issues with them. I payed X amount of money for the 6-week challenge because of the promises they made during the initial meeting. They said they would be on top of me for weekly updates, that I would get my own personal meal plan, that I would have 3 check in meetings, and if I referred a friend and they started I would be payed $100 cash. After the second week they never asked me for updates. Every person that signs up gets the same "personal meal plan" (false advertising). I referred two friends and only when I had my issues with them did they give me the $100 cash and claimed they did that out of the kindness of their hearts and I should be grateful they did that. So basically they don't honor the "refer a friend and get $100 cash each friend" deal they tell people about when signing up. I was never scheduled for the last meeting for the six-week challenge (because they don't actually pay attention to your challenge like they say they will). I asked them to take my card off file and they still haven't. I don't know about you, but again this shows me that they don't care about their clients and just try to get as many people to sign up as possible to get their money. For any questions or complaints I suggest talking with corporate. Since the email is hard to find it's support@ilovekickboxing.com read more

Five months ago I decided and dedicated myself to start losing weight. I started a weight loss program that was great in the beginning but after it was done I slowly started to go back to my old habits. Since that is not what I wanted for my life I was scrolling throw my Facebook page and saw advertisements for @ilovelickboxing classes. I was very excited because it's been years since I have taking a class like this. I quickly made an appointment to learn a little More about it and GUESS WHAT I ended getting a membership. Kayla and Ed are such amazing people with great hearts and so much knowledge, very down to earth, you will not be disappointed! Since I started with them 6 weeks ago, I have gained muscle, I have lost body fat, my body is getting toned little by little and I am seeing great progress. The best thing that I love about this nutrition is that you get to do everything at home, I LOVE COOKING. Everything tastes good, you are not missing on anything big, unless you like to spend money! It sets you at a schedule/habits that is for life. I would recommend this class to anyone that is feeling stressed and that just needs some confidence. TRUST ME if you come in feeling depressed or stressed after each class you are going to come out SO RELIEVED RELAX and you are going to sleep like a baby lol. From my experience which I will continue to do, it has been the best decision I have made..... COME CHECK OUT I LOVE KICKBOXING you will not regret it. read more

Just a quick note before starting my review. I lost 14 pounds in only 6 weeks!!! We set goals from day one, Kayla and Ed created a 'simple' plan for me that was easy to follow. They put together a system that made me accountable for my progress but didn't cause me to live off salad and chicken which was great. lol I've been boxing with Coach Kayla in an incredible group of women.. It's honestly the best 45 minutes I spend every week, as I always leave the session feeling better than when I walked in. Yes, she is absolutely brilliant! Kayla has a very relaxed style which immediately puts you at ease. However, relaxed doesn't mean he won't push you... the sessions are challenging in a way that allows you to make great progress every week. As a result of her coaching, my fitness levels have improved massively, I'm noticing lots of positive physical changes, and my overall mood is better (which is a bonus for everyone lol). Best of all, we have a great laugh, and I really love being part of a training group that's a bit of craic. Very grateful for the support of all those incredible women. This 6 week challenge has definitely changed my wife's and my life. Thanks again! Look forward to mastering an unassisted pull up very soon! :) read more

I was so nervous when I walked in the door, after having bought the starter package in NOVEMBER! I wasn't sure what to expect and my anxiety was through the roof. When I decided to finally walk in (MONTHS later) I was near a panic attack. Then I met VaShawn and he recognized my anxiety and totally helped to ease my nerves. I started my first class that day! I have horrible knees and need to modify a lot of the initial workout, but that first class he really took the time to help me acclimate. In classes post, each and every coach has been extremely supportive and encouraging and with the versatility of each class, I definitely don't see myself getting bored! I actually look forward and find ways to make it to class each week (even if that means waking up at the crack of dawn!) I highly recommend ILKB Largo not just because it's a great workout, but the culture and support of their staff speaks volumes and is what creates the connections for people to WANT to keep coming back, round after round! read more

I highly recommend ILoveKickboxing (N., Largo, FL) for so many reasons! First, the atmosphere created by the coaches here is one of the most welcoming I've EVER seen at a gym or class - and it's their kindness that fosters amazing relationships with the other members because everyone is always smiling, happy, and supportive of one another. On top of that though, the workouts are AMAZING. They're different every time and quick-paced to keep you engaged and challenged, but adaptable to every level allowing you to do YOUR personal best every time. Meal prep - the guidance they give has been priceless. I went from spending $200/week in groceries and struggling with ideas for meals to an easy to follow plan at half the cost - and it's GOOD! All of this put together has not only helped me lose weight (down 4% body fat in only 3 weeks!), and gain muscle, but also make new friendships, feel stronger mentally and physically, and feel confident in my body. Can't recommend it enough - LOVE LOVE LOVE. read more

This is the perfect place to start your fitness journey!! I was super worried I wouldn't fit in here but the positive environment Ed and Kayla have created is truly unmatched!! ‍Partner drills were my biggest fear, as someone who never achieved a single situp in NJROTC class I was terrified to hold someone back. The day came for my first class and here I am on the mat, locked ankles with a stranger, and she cheered me on til the very end. I was so fired up I totally forgot to count, but she didn't. I can't describe the feeling I felt when I heard her say the number 15 in that moment I learned what true motivation felt like! Now I avoid the elevator at work to take the stairs, I walk on my breaks, I workout at home, and I look forward to every single class! My energy has increased, my moods have improved and overall I have a bunch of fun!! read more

I was in a rut, gained 10 lbs., and was dragging myself to the gym in an effort to lose the weight I had gained and then I found iLoveKickboxing Largo....GAME CHANGER!! I was SO impressed with the facility, the trainers, and the workout (not to mention the free gloves!) The staff are all high energy and very motivating not to mention very knowledgeable! The first class kicked my butt and I knew this was where I belonged. It's so nice to be a part of a group and have fun while getting a true workout. I joined about a week ago and have already lost 3 of the 10 lbs. that I gained prior to starting. I know it won't be long until it's all off and I'll be toned too! If you need help getting motivated and staying motivated, this is the place for you! You don't need any prior experience...they teach you everything. Thumbs up for iLKB Largo! read more

I found a random advertisement for a 6 week challenge scrolling through IG one night. I decided to click on it not knowing where it would lead me. Well, 8 weeks later, 7 lbs lighter, gained muscle and lost body fat, I am finally seeing the results I wanted after having a baby! I have been apart or many gyms and never had consistent coaches like ILKB offers. I was given meal plans, encouragement, amazing workouts, and most importantly, support with accountability! The coaches text you and are always available for support, questions, and motivation. I have hit personal goals for losing weight and feeling comfortable in my own skin again. Such a great environment. I encourage anyone to try it out and see for their selves if they are really truly ready to make the change! read more

Every since I started attending kickboxing classes the coaches have been super motivating and helpful. Even if you are not able to do a certain exercise or movement they will give you something you can do that works out the same muscles. There are no excuses not to go as they are willing to help you in any way possible. Unlike most memberships, if you do not attend a class in a week or two they will call and e-mail you to get you back in class! I have never been to a gym or class where it literally felt like family. Ever since I started classes i've had more energy, more confidence, more flexibility, muscle gain, and of course weight loss! I honestly have never been so determined and actually have fun while in class. I highly recommend ILKB! read more

I have been going to iLoveKickboxing in Largo for just over 7 months. Prior to kickboxing classes, I was having a hard time staying active and interested in working out. I have a home gym and my boyfriend is very into fitness and I still could not find the motivation. The kickboxing classes are a lot of fun and kick my booty every time (in a good way). I have gone 3 times a week, every week, since August 2023. My goal when I started wasn't about weight, it was focused on feeling confident and healthy. I have a lot more endurance and feel great; the weight loss is just an added bonus. The coaches are inspiring and it's clear that they really care about every individual in the gym. I highly recommend!! read more

I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life. Mom of 4 and successful in my career I couldn't find the time for me and let myself go. I decided enough was enough and so thrilled I found I love kickboxing Largo through Facebook. I go to class 4x a week and leave feeling accomplished and strong. I'm starting to see results in just 3 weeks and my endurance increases everyday. My clothes are fitting different and I feel amazing. I can't wait to see what I look like a year from now. I have to mention that all the girls are all different sizes and ages. I felt like I would be the "bigger" girl but I felt so welcome and get constant encouragement. read more

I just had my consultation and joined Monday. I was greeted with a very welcoming and friendly staff. I felt comfortable immediately. Justin walked me through the tour and info for everything related to the gym and my personal goals. I had my first class yesterday and it was great! I haven't worked out in a long time but I was able to move at my own pace. Justin and other coaches directed me with techniques and alternative exercises to fit my skill level. Everyone in the class worked really hard and I am pumped to get back in there and to become strong again. I would highly recommend this gym! read more

I love kickboxing is the most friendly place from the moment you walk in the door. Most places are intimidating especially when you are a big girl looking to lose weight.. but there was none of that there. Everyone talks to you as if you have been friends for years and very approachable. It doesn't feel like you are going to a class, but like a social gathering having a blast. The facility is spotless and sanitized. The trainers are knowledgeable, patient and truly care about helping you get results. They are experienced kickboxers and will teach you proper kick butt techniques. read more
