Receptionist, both slow and lazy.

Here yet again, and way past my dang apportioned time. 1hr 20 mins just for a dang ten min check. Worst doctors office I have ever been at. Secretary are on the phone, rude to patients and don't care you been waiting way past your time.

I will never go there again. The absolute worst. I think the place is a scam and they only want your insurance. The doctors are incompetent

Waited 2 HOURS to be seen. Finally they get me in for an x-ray and they take an x-ray of the wrong leg. So unprofessional.

How would you recommend this place for physical therapy sessions only?

i would NOT recommend this place. i would avoid this location to be honest. they consistently charges my insurance for things i did not do or items i did not get. i came in for orthodox and they made me come in 3 times and gave me pointless insoles… Read more

I had an appt with one of the doctors in this office, which went okay, but I won't be returning…read morebecause of their billing policies. While filling out the usual forms for new patients, I noticed one clause that gave them permission to bill for "recurring charges" up to once a month - even if I had not been in the office for any care. That really surprised me, so I asked the front desk lady what that was about. She told me that gave them permission to bill for phone calls or other things they might need to do in my behalf, even though I'm not present. I don't recall ever having to sign off on something like that in any other doctor's office, and it seemed way too vague and open-ended in my opinion. I'm posting this as a heads-up to other patients who may also be concerned about this clause. I've read that some medical groups and non-profit hospital networks in IL and some other states are being bought up by private equity corporations, whose primary mission is making money, not quality patient care, and that (in my opinion) presents a financial conflict of interest for the physicians and staff. I don't know if that is the case with this office, but billing patients and/or their insurance companies for vague "recurring charges" is a red flag to me. For that reason, I will not return to this office.

Dr Goodman was knowledgeable but every time we tried to ask a question, I was told to hold on…read more Natalia, the phlebotomist was very kind and went out of her way to apologize after Clara and the office manager were completely rude and disrespectful. I had to remind the office manager that my child was nonbinary 4 times. Clara yelled at me for a northwest community hospital rheumatology, and stomped off shaking her head. I'm glad I made an appointment for my child elsewhere for next week. Except to get the test results, we will not be back! Natalia is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars.

We only switched to Metrodocs because we followed our son's doctor from Advocate. It was a big…read moremistake! Over the 8 years we stayed with Metrodocs, most of the doctors left for one reason or another. All I can say is, the turnover was very telling. We switched around from one doctor to the next in the practice as each one left, some in very strange ways, and then we ended up with Dr. Kragt. Dr. Kragt is one good salesman, and it shows how this practice is focused on making money and not its patients. My family of four was pretty much sick for an entire year, with one thing after another. Each time we came in we were treating the symptoms and not the disease. My husband is a great case in point as to why you should avoid this practice and search for quality care elsewhere. After numerous visits to Metrodocs and seeing Dr. Kragt, my husband who had been very ill for 6 months was pretty much diagnosed with what everyone else had been coming to the practice and being seen for...viruses, walking pneumonia, etc. During that time, he remained sick and worsening without any BLOOD TESTS ordered, or referrals. NOTHING! Finally, I had enough of it and decided to talk to our son's allergist. This was the best move, because they started checking for everything and running blood tests. From those, we were able to rule out any allergy issues and get a referral to a Rheumatologist where he was given more tests and later diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. The best advice I can give anyone who wants to go to Metrodocs is STAY AWAY and go elsewhere. Doing nothing is not an option for our family, and I would think most people want to get to the root cause versus spending money for bandaids. With our great insurance, we choose better quality care and hope that you do too! Buyer beware!

I am glad we are no longer using Metrodocs for my family care. After being sick (diagnosed with a…read morevirus, walking pneumonia, and several other things) for six months - within a few visits to an allergist and then a rhemuatologist, they were able to determine I had an auto immune disease and not a virus. If I listened or kept going to Metrodocs, I would never have been properly diagnosed and treated. Take your business and family elsewhere.
