I was not offered a discount or anything to make-up for finding the hair. When I asked why I had to pay for the salad with the hair they said that in Spain they do not give anything for free! I found that unacceptable. If you want to find hair in your food, and be forced to pay full price for it, then this is the place for you! Terrible experiencia...

I had lentils and an incredible roasted chicken with roasted onion and potatoes. The flavours were absolutely fantastic and I'd highly recommend this restaurant. A friend of mine knows the owners and told me that this new restaurant is one of the best around. This review was written in 2008. I had lunch there last time I was in Madrid ca. 2010 and it was still excellent!!!!

I ordered from the lunch menu, which was 10,50 euros, which I agree would have been a good deal. The waitress returned to tell me that they were out of the fish and vegetables that I had ordered, but that I could have a different kind of fish, soup and salad instead. When the check arrived it was for 23,00 euros. When I requested an explanation she informed me that i had ordered "a la carte" and therefore I was charged for each item separately (the fish alone was 15,00 euros). When I objected, she insisted that she had told me this. What really bothered me was that this was the only thing she chose to tell me in Spanish; everything else was communicated in English. I did not leave feeling good about this dining experience!
