We ordered ham and pea soup that comes with a toasted brioche bun and senor croque - their take on ham and cheese sandwich. The senor croque was quite small portioned even with the side salad. We ordered thick cut chips with rosemary salt, it was yum but I wish there was some aioli. The ham and pea soup was really yum, but quite pricey at $15 per serve. In total we paid $46 with 2 coffees (at $5 each...). Id expect that price in Sydney not in small town. Then again Bowral is where Sydney people go on weekend so I get why they charge Sydney price. But it's annoying because they're in the country, not in the city. And the coffee was more expensive than in Sydney!

The food was fresh, nicely presented and best of all yummy. Decently priced and the service was great, all the staff we got that day were friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their face. Oh and the coffee is fantastic, I'm a coffee snob so thats a big thing for me to say its fantastic. Added bonus is after lunch we went exploring the gallery and gallery shop. If you like galleries this one is pretty good and has a ever changing display, so you will always experience something new, when you go for a look. I think this will be my place of choice when visiting the area.

They accommodated my allergies, to the point of making sure they used a fresh separate chopping board, I didn't even have to ask. I had six children with me, they gave them slice for desert. First time for tea and coffee and the second, the next day for lunch. Both occasions left us feeling happy and satisfied with our food and service. So - the tea and coffee.
