I love this place. Everything is delicious. My first time here I just had pizza but the salads are exceptional. Next time I will try the pastas. I can't wait. read more

This was a nice place until this italian guy was working. he was complaining of how tired he was. probably was hungover. he was extremely rude to me and refused to serve me a beer in a proper pint glass. he served me in a small paper cup. i tried to explain i would sit down and possibly eat a pizza to be served in a proper glass. he was extremely rude and told me no. the paper cup was half the size of a pint glass and i explained this to a waitress. she was nice and tried to talk to him but he was rude to her to. this place needs to get rid of staff that treat people badly. after that he was yelling at me in front of everyone so i told him well give me my money and ill go get a proper beer elsewhere. he slammed my money on the counter and was being extremely ugly. for people including staff members to see that this kind of behavior is accepted is not a good look for the business or customers. he really made me angry so i took a photo of him. he then tried to grab my phone out of my hands getting physical with me. in no way is all that worth one beer. management should fire him.

While you can't choose anything in particular, you can rule out toppings if you detest something or have a food allergy. I went here recently with a two friends, and ordered six pizettes to share. All of them were surprisingly good, and it was fun not knowing quite what was on each one until we bit in. However, there didn't turn out to be quite as much variety as we expected - all the toppings were mostly variations on different cheeses, with some hame and salami thrown in. There was nothing particularly unique or exciting, which might have been a good thing ;-) All told, this is a fun place to eat with friends; I'm sure I'll be back!

We must have hit it at a perfect time because at 10PM on a Tuesday we went right in and got a table for 3. It was the only one available and people after us looked us longingly hoping we were done and not just starting. We had a pizza margherita, pizza prosciutto and 4 random slices from the pizza by the slice that were all very tasty. Basically 3 pizza's, 3 beers and 1 bottle of wine = 40euros! What a steal. Best meal for a deal we had while in Valencia.

But on a recent trip, due to COVID restrictions and early curfew, we ordered takeout for dinner pretty much every night--when not snacking on jamon and cheese and olives. Tapas don't really work for takeout, so we decided to try pizza, Indian food, Chinese, etc. Our first experience was takeout from Viva Napoli, a nearby pizza spot in the Cabanyal. We ended up ordering two different pizzas, and both were surprisingly delicious. Crust was cooked nicely and the toppings were high quality. Definitely a pleasant find and much better than the pizza I had in Jerez once...but we'll save that story for another day. So if you find yourself in the Cabanyal, after a long day on the beach and exploring the beautiful neighborhood, and you're craving pizza, Viva Napoli will get the job done. Big time.

I highly recommend the 4 cheese pizza -- I'm not sure what cheeses #1-3 are, but #4 is blue cheese and it makes my day every time.
