After reading the other critiques, we decided to try out this lovely place located directly over…read morethe lake. We had been hosting our cousins, one of whom owns a restaurant in Besançon, France, and this was their last night. The ambiance doesn't disappoint, sleek, modern dark brown wooden furniture on the deck, seating around 50. There's additional seating inside, one large dining room, but we didn't venture inside, lucking out on one of the outdoor tables which include cushioned seats and lime-colored fleece blankets.
We also lucked out with our server who had a permanent smile and warm, professional manner we all dream of in our waitstaff. He took our drink orders first, recommending a fine Pinot Noir since the Grauburgunder that we wanted was no longer available.
Our Chef did the tasting and we were not disappointed. We all ordered the same fish meal, the Zander (pikeperch) wrapped in seaweed. Delicious! As was everything else. Definitely worth it!
