Great atmosphere for an al fresco restaurant although you can also choose to eat inside. We all enjoyed every bite. The four of us chose different entrees. I had the chanterelles dripping Ina lovely cream sauce with dumplings. Spectacular! My friend had the wiener achnizle which was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a delicious potato salad. Another had the trout with spaghetti, savory and my daughter had the goulash. All very good. You really cannot order wrong here. All the ingredients are local and fresh. We will be back!

The Reck's Hotel and Restaurant both are top notch. My…read morefamily and I are staying here at the hotel for two days. They have amazing art on the walls, sculptures and a great sense of design. The facility has a banquet hall on the grounds for larger events or groups. We had dinner last night it was elegant and of superior quality. I had venison with chantrel and crimini mushrooms and spaetzln. My wife had the trout and potatoes. Our children had stroganoff and veal. Everything tasted superb and was cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse with fresh fruit, it's was excellent. If you are in the area of the Bodensee Lake Constence and want excellent service, food, a lovely and quiet place to stay choose The Reck's. Pete C.

Very popular locally, gorgeous interior with a beautiful food presentation. I had the tagliatelle with pine nuts and spinach in a gorgonzola sauce which, surprisingly needed salt. The food in general was okay, a bit bland (compared to many of the other non-Germany/fusion type restaurants in the area I'd been to over the past week) but overall very much worth trying.
