The food was among the best I have EVER eaten, the staff were helpful and generous and sincere, the vibe was classy but not pretentious. I had the special- fusilli and tuna ragu and wild fennel. Cons: Server was short and disinterested in responding to questions or selling menu. Though food was brought quickly to the table (a typical highlight), it was lackluster, poorly prepared. We ordered the grilled meats and vegetable dish and everything was extremely tough and overcooked. There were multiple types of meats on the plate that should normally have various cooking temps but with how fast it came out and again how dry/tough they tasted it felt as though they were pre cooked and warmed to order. The Milanese was cardboard like and perdominantly breading. Bread provided prior to dinner was stale. TL;DR: overpriced, overcooked, lackluster food and service with good drinks and a view. The lobster pasta was a standout with perfectly cooked lobster over al dente linguine in a sauce that struck just the right balance of richness and brightness. Prices were great.
