The rest of the night goes down in history as one of the best adventures ever. Specialty cocktails by the owner/ bartender better than mixologists we've tried in Manhattan. The menus are beautifully designed and the atmosphere gets better and better as the night grows later. Thank you for the hospitality and memories. We hope we can make a return trip someday.

Admittedly, we came here because of Master of None (seems like we're doing a Master of None Modena…read moretour). I swear I'm not a huge groupy - it was just easier to go to already vetted places. Wines by the glass for €6-10 with a good selection of bubbles, whites, and reds. They also had some Italian traditional cocktails and then some more intriguing stuff like a tequila based negroni. We decided to stick with wines before dinner. - Brut rose: not too sweet - Montepulciano: my favorite - House made beer with sea salt: unique with a hint of salt They brought us complimentary crudités (carrots and pickles), focaccia, and crackers, which was really nice. We also ordered some olives. Everything came in really pretty dishes that reminded me of stuff used for high tea. There's a cute patio outside, and there are small tables inside. Service was patient and friendly. It has a very relaxed vibe, and you just get the sense that other patrons there are all just in a good mood. Also, I love the wall of shelves of wine scattered with some books (I dream of having something like this in my house one day). It was a super cute place for a drink before dinner. I would happily come back.

Nu Lounge Bar isn't like your typical "speak easy" tiki bar, it's much more of an open bar with big windows and brighter lighting.
