It came with oysters, three types of shrimp, shrimp paste, three types of ceviche, and a carpaccio. My favorite was the carpaccio, which had pieces of freeze dried raspberry on top. The only thing I didn't like was one of the ceviches. We had a plate of fried calamari and shrimp next. The batter was excellent! Lastly, we had a pasta dish with clams. It was simple but delicious. I would say this restaurant was the highlight of our time here in this port city.

Music was playing from outdoor speakers and the selections were great, mostly rock n roll from all decades. They are really trying to evoke a relaxed atmosphere. Our server was friendly and spoke English. We ordered a negroni cocktail and a "Negroski" an amusing variant which uses vodka instead of gin. She brought us plates of charcuterie, cheese, stuffed hot peppers, bruschetta and pita. All was very tasty. So we decided to order another beverage, and surprise surprise we received ANOTHER batch of food. Is it impossible to get drunk in Italy? Lol. The only reason we didn't get a third drink is because we were concerned we would get more food, ha ha. Did we finish the food? Yes. Did we go to dinner later? Yes. This place was wonderful and a very pleasant surprise to be located inside a tourist site.

Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We each ordered a pizza which was heaven. Perfect consistency of cheese and sauce and the crust was perfectly cooked. We shared a prosciutto and melon appetizer which was great. Sweet melon and much better prosciutto than the US. I had a nice glass of local white wine and my husband had an Italian beer. Definitely a nice place to come to. Just make sure if you don't want a basket of bread let the waiter know because they charge you for it! Same with still or sparkling water, there is a charge. Also, tips are not included so if you want to leave a tip, make sure you tell them before they run your credit card.
