The shop owner also found my phone that I left on the counter and answered it and told me it was there and I went back an hour later to pick it up. For that alone this place deserves 5 stars. Thank you for that !!! It is greatly appreciated. I would happily come back here again for Eis and there was a big line up today due to the flea market but I also understand it is not uncommon. Lining up for Eis on a hot day is a Munich hobby and the good places are always busy ;-))

**SOLID GELATO IN GERMERING**…read more The best gelato place in the small town of Germering. AMBIANCE ========= Small mom and pop (owned and run by Italian family) gelato place, offering flavors such as Snickers, Coffee, and Raspberry. No place to eat directly outside. Go across the street for several benches. ORDERED ========= CHOCOLATE Their best flavor. Perfect. RATING: 5/5 COFFEE-MOCHA Great balance of chocolate and coffee. RATING: 4/5 SNICKERS Surprisingly not too sweet. Good caramel, nuts, and a swirl of dark chocolate was good, but not great overall. The vanilla need more pow. RATING: 3/5 COOKIES It was a different type of cookie taste. Don't expect American cookie. No pow. RATING: 3/5 PRICE: 1 euro per scoop Texture was creamy and not too sweet. I prefer it richer. Lovely service. They packaged our gelato cups to-go. Rumor has it that they will move down the street in the new building for more space and possible outside seating. OVERALL ======== Great family spot for solid gelato. RECOMMEND.
